That's what I am thinking... HA The best one I have played so far is Paris Metro Simulator, it's really great!
Played that one as well! You can also play that game in the browser in case you didn't know. On topic: I send the dev a message via the official contact page of the game and pointed him towards this thread.
yes im suck at this at first. but if you see my second mission, i already paid attention to the speed limit and the track switch. the control on iphone 7 plus is quite small, so sometimes i just swipe the camera instead of break the train. anyway, this game is crying so hard for me to buy the iap. but i agree its a beautiful game. wish i could pay 20 bucks and they will remove all the iap.
the track may be 100 but the train judging by the video should only be doing 60mph any more risk taking damage plus of course he was speeding a lot of the time. This is normal now folks you have a premium game with IAP as well, i dont think that should put you off buying it.
Yeah he was speeding sometimes, although sometimes his speed indeed was 60/70mph. Why can't you go 60mph when the speed limit is 100? Isn't the speed limit supposed to be lower at certain parts where you actually need to slow down? Corners/bridges and such. It seems the game has a lower speed limit (45) for those parts. So why can't you go 100mph then when the limit is 100 on straight parts. Can you elaborate? Is this an American thing?
It depends on what is the maximum speed of your current locomotive. The first one is a workhorse not a speedster so even if speed limit is 100mph that one locomotive cant reach that speed. Good idea the mail to devs pointing here!!!
i think this explanation by truncana is make more sense. i gonna try it on my second playthrough. though my train is broken and i dont think there's a way to fix it other than spending coins which i dont have right now. im not going to give more judgement about this game since im not playing that long, but if you really into train simulator then you shouldn't wait to buy it. ps. just wondering if they ever state the maximum speed for each train?i need to find out.
I checked by playing it some then deleting the app and reinstalling I was able to start completely over which was good cuz I suck right now hahaha I will get it but man I botched that time ha there is an option to restore data so say you delete at some point and want to bring it back but don’t want to start over you can do that too so I like that idea Very glad I got it now
So far really cant find too much not to like about it Really enjoyable game Graphics are great, like the various camera angles you can switch to but at work cant play it much so cant wait to get home and play it a lot more Thanks for your help too Truncana
Another thought about the engine ‘bug’: Did you select the metric or imperial system for speed mesurement? Could be the issue if you change that and the speed signs stay in the original mesure system. EDIT: I found the speed limitations for each locomotive! If you exceed this speed limitation your engine starts to break down. How to find it: Press pause > Press dealer > Press on the locomotives tab > On the left side, you can expand the information tab. The first locomotive has a max speed of 65mph. Makes sense!
