Trace 2 - First Trailer!

    After 3 years of getting sidetracked by life and busy college schedules, we finally found the time to begin work on the long-awaited Trace 2 back in January. It's come along very well since then, and we're now getting close to the finish line. We're going to be submitting a playable demo to IGF this week, and we are releasing this announcement trailer to coincide with that.

    For those who wern't on the iOS gaming scene back in 2008, Trace 1 was one of the first big free games back in the early days of the App Store. It reached #3 on the Free Games charts at its peak, and has sold over 4.5 million copies. It's still avaliable on the App Store today.

    Trace 2 is a platformer where you can draw your own platforms on the touch screen. It improves massively over the original with better level design, more varied gameplay, more worlds, a brand new game engine, better music, and much better graphics. The goal was to make a game at our very best, while keeping true to what made the original game great.

    We've also listened to everyone's feedback over the years about our usual low priority on visuals, and we want to change that with this game. We're very excited to announce that we're working with famed videogame artist Orioto (http://orioto.tumblr.com/) on this game to try and turn this weakness of ours into a strong point :D
