I've searches the TD forums and I didn't find the thread about this one.

Does anybody know if this game is worth the price of 3,99 Euro?

    Thanks.

    INFORMATION ABOUT THE GAME
    -------------------------------

    A CALL FOR HELP

When we settled this land there were no signs of these men… these monsters. They came in waves, a tide of destruction that we have failed to contain. Our warriors have fallen, and our defensive towers have taken great damage. The town gate is strongly built, but I fear it will not hold them for long. If we are breached, this settlement and its town’s folk will be lost.

Please, I implore you. Take up our cause and wield your magic against the horde that punishes us so dearly. Know that their numbers are growing, and it seems likely that the conflict has only begun. The monsters have declared war on us all.

    You must help us.

    The graphics don't look bad.
But it just doesn't seem to interest me.

It's actually a pretty different - it's not a Tower Defense at all. You control a hero and use several 'gestures' (spells) to defend against the oncoming enemies.

The graphics are actually pretty good - it's not 3d, so you can't change the perspective, the the rendered 2d stuff is amazing.

It's a pretty hard game right now. I can beat East, and almost beat Medium. You mileage may vary! :) Unlocking the new spells and heroes is fun, though. Hopefully they'll add more with updates!

I'm the lead developer for Townrs Defender -- I've created an announcement thread that you can use to ask me or my partners questions, offer advice, request features, etc. This is our first game, so any advice on how to get the word out, and what information you'd need, is greatly appreciated.

The point of making a video is well taken - we're working on that today. I'll post back when we have gameplay videos posted.

Sorry, I posted the trailer in the main announcement, but not here. You can find the video on youtube, or a higher resolution one on facebook.
