    My friend code is: 2336308

I just got this follower that's massively better than any of my followers as I have many with just 1-2 skill and starting to find 4-5 a little now too. Although when I got this follower it said thieves will appear now but unsure what they look like yet.

Wondering if anyone knows how to evict? I've found new people that have better stats and can fire someone from a job but can't figure out how to evict them once they are moved in? Can't seem to drag and drop into the water either?

Also how do I find my code to add you guys as friends?

Go to the friends tab and then in the top left corner, hit "invite friends" and your code will show up.

As far as evicting, I was under the assumption that you could just fling them off the boat? I'll have to try. I have a couple dbags I need to get rid of. Lol

Is it possible to destroy a shop? I have a quest to build 2x thread shops, and I already have a max of two built, but the quest shows that I've only built one of the 2 required. (Wasn't sure if I now have to wait until I reach a higher level in order to build another thread shop...)

To me it seems like pot luck getting a dream job or paying gems to get one. Starting to seem like to get the best people you have to buy them for 50 gems from the invite section but hopefully that's not the case.

I was also sad to see that it costs 5k gold to move residents to a different apartment which sucks when you want to match people to get married.

As for evicting it's actually called adventure, you chose to send them on an adventure and it kicks them out.

For me the timers are all too small you can next to never fully stock a floor things sell quicker than it takes to stock the next thing? So most of the time unless your on every few minutes your earning nothing.

But I hope that'll change as I can see a level indicator next to the floors so hopefully they can rank up and stock better.

I asker for worldwide release. They said

Right now we are focused on Towering Oceans in US/AUS/UK/CA/IR/NZ, so a worldwide release is something for us to consider in the future.

I'm sure they will eventually, like with some developers it takes them a while to do the localisation.

But anybody outside of those places can still download it other the other stores since it's free anyway.

I wish more people here were playing I want more friends and people to talk to about the game.

So I'm on floor 18 and traveled to a new ocean and also have an island now which has buildings to upgrade and a place to send people I don't want on my ship and it lets me upgrade shops and other things.

Also I thought I'd note there's an automation building to work towards which says it automates production so I'm wondering if eventually that'll make the game run itself and you just have to do other bits instead of constantly ordering?

I seem to be getting better people now too with better skills, the game just seems to keep adding little touches as you progress which for me keep making it better than others that are similar.

Hey! My name is Clock and I'm the GM for Towering Oceans. Nice to meet you! I happened upon this thread as per one of our Facebook followers and want to answer some questions asked in this thread.

Before I get into it, I want to thank you all for playing the game! I'm glad people are enjoying it, and it only gets better after spending a bit of time with it.

I implore everyone who enjoys the game to register on the official Towering Oceans forum HERE! You'll always be able to find us here easily and get firsthand info about special promotions and weekend events.

You can also find us on Twitter, Facebook, and our official website. In addition, you can always ping me directly on my personal Twitter!

Last but not least, I encourage all players to OPT-IN on Towering Oceans push notifications! You'll be notified of daily rewards, special promotions and events, and game tips as well.

I'll give you a SECRET TIP! Sailing challenges are easier to complete if you have the game set to landscape mode. If you go to Menu > Settings and turn Rotation On, you get that much more distance to grab the drifter/treasure in time. You can also upgrade you engine, which speeds up sailing in general. I personally have a Solar engine and it works well for starting out.

As you progress, you'll receive in-game notifications of Guardians flying around. Tapping them will yield a special bonus. Mr. Snark is especially helpful.

As a side note, you can increase the the rate in which Guardians appear once you get the Summoner title!

Hahah yeah. No jobbers allowed on my boat, only champions!!

The "send on adventure" feature is a placeholder of sorts until you reach the second ocean, which is when the island becomes available. At that point, you can send residents to the island instead which helps with the construction of new buildings on said island.

You have to reach the next ocean (which requires a minimum distance sailed) so you can keep building. You want the tower to be huge, so destroying a shop would be counter-intuitive (#><)!

Eventually, drifters that you find (especially from sailing challenges) will have better stats and more chance of having a dream job as you progress further in the game. Or, you can always pay Rubies to give a resident a dream job.

By the way, my mobiliz3 ID is 6803212. Add me!

Good to see you here. I hope more people start to notice the game as I've played others that become pretty popular and this is better than all of those.

I can't seem to transfer progress between iPhone and iPad - is that function working? I signed up for an account but it just says 'login failed'.

    Hey Wrath I didn't realize you were a TA player : )

I can't comment on trying between devices as I haven't tried yet, but my account isn't working properly though as it keeps telling me I haven't verified my email and whenever I click resend nothing happens.

This game is NOT a Tiny Tower clone. IMO Towering Oceans is the first TT inspired game to turn tower building into a bonafide game genre.

    Really enjoying this game!

Glad TO GM is here on the forums. Thanks for the game tips, Clockw0rk.

It does have IAP but it's all just to speed things up really or some cosmetic ect but the good thing is that all of the best things in the game are purchased with in game currency not IAp currency.

So even if someone spent a fortune to get all the best IAP items you can still end up better than them as the best stuff all costs food not gems.

Just came across this game and really digging it so far! I can't add friends yet but I'll add everyone in this thread, does anyone have any tips/advice for someone just starting out? Also how can you sync this to play across devices?

I gotta get back to playing this game. It's hard trying to keep up with good games releasing everyday on the AppStore and (almost) every week on consoles. It's to the point where there's more games than time anymore. Lol.

I had to re download and relaunch it on my phone after signing up for an account on my iPad, so I had to lose my progress from today which is my fault for not making an account earlier. What I've figured out about cross device syncing is you have to manually save to the server in the settings, even when you're logged into your accouunt on both devices. Otherwise it just loads for the devices local save file.. Hope that makes sense to you!
