Oh wow, that's super cool. I especially like Birdip's Strategy But the ones with actual tips are pretty nice. I just got to get some more cards and some more level-ups to use them properly.
Birdip is a very experienced player. He has literally been with us from day one. The best way to get more cards is by playing a lot of matches and opening a lot of Duel Safes. You can decrease opening times by up to 50% if you invite some friends to Tower Duel. I'll attach a pic which explains how to do this
Awesome game! I really enjoy playing Tower Duel Great work! How many maps are there and will there be more?
That's super cool to hear! I think there are currently 23 maps in the game, but you can find a detailed map overview in our wiki: http://towerduel.wikia.com/wiki/Maps New maps are sporadically added in most updates, so stay tuned
I think the higher your league, the more maps you unlock. I recently ranked up and suddenly many more maps appeared. That was super exciting! By the way, this Panic Room Map is really intense. I was used to duels on very large map, and then this very small map appears!
@pardee @strategymaster Which maps do you prefer? You can also submit proposals for new maps in our Discord! --> https://discord.gg/towerduel Hallways for example, was proposed by our current Top Player SentinelX!
Panic Room is definitely my favorite so far. Other than that....center madness is pretty intense too!
As a huge fan of the TD genre, I'm rather embarrassed that I'm this late discovering this game! Combines everything I enjoy - sparkly graphics, collectible cards, tower defense... From reading this thread, sounds like there's a lot I have to discover about the game still, since I've only completed the tutorial and one match, lol. I'm probably missing something, but after the tutorial, is it strictly PvP, no testing against bots, etc?
Thanks a lot for the great feedback! You're right, after the tutorial it is pure competition However, a testing playground or PvE missions are a great idea and we'll consider it for future updates. Tower Duel still has a long way ahead and we'll be constantly adding new content, features and performance updates.
@strategymaster would you prefer testing against bots or a sandbox mode with a huge map in which you can defend units you send yourself?
Sending myself sounds really cool....would it be possible to get unlimited Energy (or a lot of starting energy) for this testing mode?
Development How long has this been in development for and how long are you planning to make new updates? PS: Does anyone have any tips for levelups? Are King Deals worth it?
Great idea. Yes, that would definitely be possible. Would you also like to test on different battle maps?
Tower Duel has been in development for nearly 2 years now. We are planning on making updates forever as long as there are people enjoying the game
As developers we honestly don't know which level-up combinations are the best, but we have some super hardcore top players who often share their level-up selections in our Discord Channel --> https://discordapp.com/invite/towerduel
That sounds very good I can tell you. I am enjoying. Also I'm looking forward to any updates! Can you give us some tiny hints what might be up next?
We cannot say for sure what comes up next but we have lots of stuff on our to-do list such as a Training Mode, more languages, more towers and units, performance improvements, an improved friend list mode, quests and challenges, a tournament mode and many other thins
