Ok, so I just saw Steve unveil the new iPod Touch and it looks incredibly amazing. I really want it but I already have an iPad and a Droid so should I get it? I would use it solely for gaming. I desperately want to play some of these new games coming out. Any help is appreciated.

It's been a while for myself too. I feel like a damn crack addict since I've been fiending for some iPod touch games. Now with the new chipset and retina display I will be up to date in the iDevice gaming world again! Huzzah! Though I am sure it will take me a while to save up for the 64gig. I need more space for music but I don't know if I am going to get around to purchasing it since money is so tight. Might have to go with the 8gig unfortunately and just use it mainly for gaming. But I love all my music
Im upgrading from a 1G so obviously it was just about time as they discontinued the 1G from thier OS Upgrades a few months ago. Im definatley going to get it

So let me know if I get this right... It has a front-facing camera for facetime and a back-facing camera for HD recording... but no regular camera? Do they realize we can just take screenshots? Why wouldn't they just let us have an iphone type of camera just to make things easier. Unless I'm wrong, they're dicks.
I think the best thing about the new iPods is that they didn't make you buy the higher end ones to get all the new features. I _am_ annoyed that you can't take photos. It could be 1 megapixel for all we know. Not that MPs matter, of course.
Look Bro, I have a droid also but it wasn't the media player I was hoping for... Nice phone but that's it, Im getting the new iPod because it plays media the easiest and fastest and greatest. Plus the games...

omg apparently this year they decided to make the iPod Touch more expensive in Canada... $319 for the 32gb. Unless that's just at the Apple Store... maybe Walmart/Best Buy will have it for $299
