I'm trying to understand how much 'game' there is to the game. I see there is Competion mode (against AI opponents?) and achievements to unlock features, but how fun is it beyond being a skateboard simulator? I'm not interested really in the multiplayer, so am curious about the single player content. Edit: NVM - Bought
Thanks for answer. It was what I thought. One more question, how do you land back on a grind ? I mean, I try to do as if I grind as usual, but I oftfen fall... Sorry if it's hard to understand, I'm french
Is there a way to maintain speed in switch/fakie? Sometimes randomly I can keep going but usually as soon as I put my fingers on the board it tries to change direction.
On the map, you would find the highest tower, just start from there. Make 1 shuv, either grind or slide down the iron bar, shuv out from that bar to the right, catch the board in the air to make it stop, then make another late-shuv in the air and land in the red pool. There you'll have 3 shuvs.
When can we expect the next skatepark? Im also at 89% to superstar. But all the challenge are done? Ok found it. Skipped some tutorials.
Ok first off, this is a fantastic game, like every game made by IL. A few questions though. I'm down to my last couple challenges and I'm having trouble. The "do exactly a switch 360 flip", I can do this every time but it alway makes it a switch 360 frontside kickflip, so I'm not getting completion. Anyone have an idea why? 2nd, I have no idea how to do a railslide for the "do 10 railslides in competition without any power slides." Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here's a quick video of a perfect switch 360 flip that doesn't count.
I think due to the height and u landing in the bowl, the comp thinks its a tranny trick. Do it on flat ground or on a box.
Nope, no matter where/ how I do it, it's always a switch 360 FS kickflip. I'm starting to think its a bug.
I finally got it. I accidentally did a late flip after the switch 360 flip and for some reason it counted it.
Just got around to playing this game, and I think it's just sick. I played true skate a LOT, and although it's easier to get the hang of and maneuver around, I feel like half the tricks I do happen randomly. Maybe it's just me, but if you close your eyes and swipe around like mad and make sure you land on the wheels, you get a crap load of points without knowing what you actually did. Touchgrind 2 is a whole lot more difficult but every point scored feels like it's earned. I've still got a lot to play to master it but I'm totally digging it. Quick question, Anyone know where I can find the soundtrack that plays in the menu? It's brilliant!
For anyone else who's had trouble with the "do exactly a switch 360 flip" challenge. You have to do a switch 360 hardflip for it to be called a switch 360 flip and not a switch 360 fs kickflip. Not sure if it is a bug or just labeled wrong, but that's what you have to do to complete the challenge.
Anyone having trouble with the challenge do a grind to nollie 360 flip? Im pretty sure im doing it right but its not registering
Spam kick-flips continuously (or any other simple trick), points per trick are lessened with repetition
