Wow, does anybody else find the controls impossible? I barely made it through the tutorial without throwing my Ipad. Really wanted to like this but can't say I'll be playing it again anytime soon.
I will be buying this a little later, when I get home, will you be checking this thread periodically? I'm sure I'll love it I've bought every other IL game except BMX, and I've been more than pleased with my purchases
I have the same problem on iPad 4 Wi-Fi, iOS 6.1 and I’m jailbroken. But I use genuine (paid) app. No logs to be found. P.S.: the game works on my iPhone 4S, 6.1.1.
You just have to stick with it, I was playing for about an hour before it all fell into place and felt normal. Showing off my custom board
We are very sorry that this problem have occurred. The problem have been identified, there is an issue on iPad with iOS 6. We are working on it and will send in an update within the next hour. So hopefully the fix will be out very soon. Upgrading your iPad to iOS 7 will solve the problem.
That's true, I do like the swipe to accelerate rather than always moving, Although I've always played both touch grind and true skate like a tech deck kind of thing where I don't really do anything other than set my own challenges and pick a jump or line and keep hitting it, same thing I do with the skate game by ea in consoles. And for that reason both games are brilliant. It's a lot easier to pull tricks of in the game than with an actual finger skate board took me ages to even be able to Ollie one of those.
How's your game run on iPad mini Marcus? I always check before a purchase cause I've been burnt before.
It runs great. There is a problem if you have iOS 6 (that should be solved soon) but it works great on iOS 7.
Agree 100%. These controls are just not there, I've played for hours and it still is hard to get he board to do what I want. And worst of all, you move too damn fast.
In jam session mode, can you just skate around and try to work on certain tricks, or do you have to complete challenges? Let's say I wanted to just goof around on a particular park for 15-20 min and not really accomplish anything other than hone my skills, could I do that?
Yep just skate around freely for as long as you like in jam mode, that's where I'm spending most of my time.
One thing that is missing here are trucks to unlock.. And I'm having difficulties moving the skate around, I mean, left/right, while moving. I guess I gotta get used to it. Besides that, Loved it!
This is the best purchase I've made in quite awhile. I had hoped for the same controls as TG 1, but I understand they wouldn't "feel" right with the new camera perspective. I also bought True Skate yesterday and I'm not knocking that game, it's got strengths, but TG2 will be getting the majority of my attention. Thanks IL for the time and effort it took to get this game just right. I absolutely love it
any idea what the music playing on the stage selection screen is and where I can get it? its excellent!
