TouchArcaders Pick for 2010 Game of the Year!

I havent play Sentinel 3 but im sure is up there with best of the best, 1 & 2 were so polished and fun, also talking about the best games, Tilt to Live have a new update and a new Game mode !!!

My top three as of right now: rr2, pvz, and gta. Hm's: infinity blade and nova 2.

 

We should get TA to post this on the main page once the poll is up. Then they could add the Forum's choice for GOTY to their best of 2010 post - a TA forum GOTY award!

Here's my top 5:
1) Infinity Blade
2) Real Racing 2
3) GTA:CW
4) Zen Bound 2
5) Mirror's Edge

and to complete my own list, the remainder of my top 10 would be:
6) SFIV
7) Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (easily the best dual stick shooter on the app store, and the best Tomb Raider game in years)
8) Monkey Island 2
9) Guitar Hero
10) Cut the Rope

 

I'd like to add Spider-Man: Total Mayhem.

It looks great (especially on iPad), the controls are tight and fighting is a blast. It mainly gets high marks from me because of it's replay value. Trying to collect all 150 comic books, plus three pics each of all the bosses, has me coming back to the game day after day after day.

Everyone loves Infinity Blade, Aralon, Cut the Rope, etc., but Spider-Man just hasn't gotten his due respect.

i have a problem with street fighter. I think that another app deserves the spot. but post the top 10.

 

No way, SF4 is one of the most deserving apps, and along with IB/RR2/MC2 are the 4 most likely "big name" titles to win it all.

Regardless, at the very least, you could support your argument. What's wrong with SF4?

This was the year of GTA. No competition for me
I also find it humorous how Chaos Rings was being hailed as the standout GOTy earlier this year, but is now not even a nomination

EDIT: Disappointed that Space Miner did not make the list-it is perhaps, as IGN would say, "The Best Game that nobody played"

Why not? It's a ton of fun, and it has received massive acclaim. What disqualifies it from this list?

Also have enjoyed lots of others.
I think Cut The Rope deserves it's place.
