These are all fantastic games, but while Street Fighter IV may not be the "best" game of the year, it is certainly the one that will likely be on my device the longest, and see among the most play. EDIT: Especially if Capcom continues adding new characters (hint hint).
Edge HD (universal build) Released 2010 - my GOTY. Real Racing 2 finishing milliseconds behind. Edge HD as it is the most rewarding, deep and engaging HD upgrade yet imo makes the game totally fresh again and blends the strength of the touchscreen interface to make a seamlessly sublime game. Our killer app was there all along. Real Racing 2 for its technical wizardry and 'true' AAA grade production. We should all be thankful for Firemint there was no luck involved here just a commitment to make a better game through re-investment and hard graft. They have set the bar higher than anyone. I hope 2011 brings new challengers. - and as for the pop chart...who cares
