Yeah galoobeth is what started this whole thing, they made the whole thing and then Josh and CM came and added and redid graphics and stuff, but without galoobeth there would be no game.
Err, what's the commotion about ? How relevant is this poll, when only about 300 players voted, and the winner received less than a quarter of all votes ? Better get back to work and make the game playable - the camera placement is a chore (I almost always get attacked by enemies I can't see), I keep finding collision bugs and trigger bugs (the tutorial starts anew every time I enter that building, some characters repeat endlessly the introductory quest texts etc...), the menus are tiny and very hard to use on my iPad, the map is useless, and whole mountains keep popping up in front of me, at a stone's throw away. The controls are badly thought out (you need to keep you finger exactly on the d-pad, no margin for error) and badly implemented (tapping the attack / defense buttons doesn't work all the time). If exploration is OK in the outside (thanks to very large areas, which have the side effect of getting you lost rather easily), trying to navigate inns or caves is very uncomfortable. Too bad, there's a lot to like in this game - but I'll be unable to enjoy it fully until the annoying issues with the core elements of the game aren't solved (by "core" I mean movement, camera, combat and inventory - including buying / selling things). Good luck earning this GOTY title.
This thread was closed a bit prematurely. I think a lot of us didn't get a vote, spending time with our families and such. There's time left for new releases, too.

Couldn't say it even better. Most of the games that are listed are amazing. Anyone love racing games ,the other one Fps and so on... In my point of view there shouldn't be one game of the year,it should be one for each game category, Infinity Blade have overall the best graphics , Aralon probaly the hugest content, Modern Combat 2 the best Multiplayer. There dozen of great apps which released that year and to say that one game blow the other away is quite unfair.
The poll clearly does not have one app blow away the others. As you can see, Aralon, IB, and RR2 were all pretty close. And just because its hard to pick GOTY doesn't mean we can't try.
