I've had some good laughs going through these comments so I'm not even gonna try to be funny... Just wanted to say thanks to all the guys behind TA this might be one of the most used apps on my iPhone since it came out... sometime I find myself opening it closing it... And opening it a few minutes later again lol I couldn't even guess how many times I actually open this app per day... Great job guys but how bout that update need an updated icon lol lookin all 2011 still lol
Subscribing to Forums Is there a way to subscribe to forum threads from within the TouchArcade app or can it only be done from the desktop site?
All u have to do is slide the bar in the right corner near the top and it should add to ur watch list.
Thanks for the reply Chief78. I actually meant subscribing to a forum thread and not adding a game to my wishlist. However I just scrolled to the bottom of the thread in the Toucharcade app and noticed a Subscribe button. The only problem is I tap the Subscribe button and even though it shows as subscribedin the app, it doesn't show up in the subscribed threads section of the app. This doesn't make the button very useful. I wonder if the Toucharcade app will ever be updated again. Update: nevermind. There's a delay of a few minutes before it shows up in your subscribed threads.
I have noticed that since the last update, clicking on the "SPOILER" text doesn't work. Also, the "subscribe" button doesn't always work, but this has happened always.
Cool..my evil plan is working. Break everything in the app and then they will have to fix all the issues with the app (or more likely, start from anew...).
I can't find the thread, sorry. Could you post the link? I'd also like to know why TA app is not being updated. I love the app, but it seems that every update it gets is worse for me...
Short version: Apple has cracked down on similar apps, like Touch Arcade, in regards to new guidelines. They, Touch Arcade, don't want to commit time, money and resources to updating the app for it to only get rejected. They feel it would be too costly. So, for now there won't be any updates in the foreseeable future.
Oops, that sounds bad. Perfectly understandable, but bad (mainly due to Apple's new guidelines ) thanks for the heads up.
