Hey there, I think it is sort of sensible to open a thread like this one. Do you know the threads of Camzy(TA-member) where the best iPhone are elected? I want to do the same thing here. In a first round, all of you can write suggestions of the best Action-Adventures for Wii, PS3, Xbox 360 and multiplatform-title. Imporant: You can't nominate a game for PS3, Xbox 360, or Wii only if it is avaiable too on another console. Then you have to nominate it in the multiplatform-categorie. You can rominate beetween 1-5 games. number 6,7 etc. you nominate don't count! If you don't own every console, you can just write your suggestions for e.g the PS3-section. Deadline: 13 of may. In a second round, the five games per section which appears the most on your lists, can be elected in the second round. Later more... So your suggestions? here are mine: Action-Adventures Wii: 1. Disaster Day of Crisis 2. Zelda TP 3. Cursed Mountain PS3: 1. Uncharted 1 2. Uncharted 2 3. InFamous Xbox360: 1. Alan Wake 2. Splinter Cell Conviction Multi: 1. Just Cause 2. brĂ¼tal legend 3. Tomb Raider Underworld 4. Overlord 2
Doesn't No More Heroes go under multiplatform now? It's on the 360/PS3. Only in Japan for now, but still counts.
Why can't we vote for older games? Have a section for games before this generation, as this one just doesn't have the same games. I'll put up my 3 nominees for that category: Metal Gear Solid Banjo-Kazooie Super Mario 64 For the Wii: Zelda: Twilight Princess Super Paper Mario Resident Evil 4 360: Dishwasher: Dead Samurai (if XBLA games count) Dead Rising Multi-Platform: Assassin's Creed 2 Devil May Cry 4
Yeah, I don't get why all these people keep putting Halo (although Reach is amazing so far, can't wait for the new map tomorrow) and stuff, it's a shooter. Action-Adventure is 3rd person, usually running around and platforming or fighting monsters. Games range from stuff like Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and the Zelda games, to games like Resident Evil (although I'd consider 5 more of a shooter myself), Dino Crisis, Prince of Persia, Monster Hunter, and Splinter Cell (it's more of an action game than a shooter, since there's minimal amounts of shooting). It can include shooting, as long as the main focus isn't on just shooting, like in First and Third Person shooters. Just hope I cleared that up for anyone who was confused or about to post a FPS.
Some other titles I noticed on the thread that are multiplatform: Dead Rising - Has a crappy port on the Wii Resident Evil 4 - Is on the Gamecube, Wii, PS2, and while not the exact game its also on mobile platforms like the iPhone. Twilight Princess - Gamecube and Wii, it's even more of a GC than a Wii game.
Ah... well I don't even consider that Wii port. It changed the game enough to be more than a multi-console game. RE4 was, again different on the Wii from the GC and PS2 versions, with new aiming controls, and a game mode if I'm correct. Twilight Princess was more popular on the Wii, although it was a big GC game. It came out at the GC's death, but we'll consider it multi-platform.
Well, here we go! N64- #1-LoZ: OoT #2- Banjo Kazooie #3- Super Mario 64 PS2- #1-Rachet and Clank 2: Going Commando #2- Prince of Persia #3- All Jak and Daxter games PS3- #1- inFamous #2- Rachet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction #3- LBP Multiplatform- #1- Okami #2- AC2 #3- Mirrors Edge Runner Up- Just Cause 2 In my eyes, these are the best of the best. I'd really recommend you check out Okami if you haven't played it yet. That was a masterful game.
We can do that to, but the main part is Next-Gen-Console exklusive-title. xbox 360 exklusive, ps3 only and wii only - and naturally multiplatform. I will only count the games, which are in the right section. Dead Rising, isn't Wii-exklusive. e.g
