I will post here but also pm you before I submit an application. I sent an email and it must have slipped through the cracks. So, are you still looking for writers?
I think just a letting us know would be enough. You're welcome to delete my post... and the many other worthless ones in the thread.
Guys I'm going to start putting people in time out who insist on posting stupid things in this thread. We've got tons of other threads you can do that in.
All I have to say is stay consistant. If you review a game like doodle jump and give it 5 stars , then a year later you say its subpar , thats not consistant. Other then that , each writer is here is good and has thier own style. Thats what makes toucharcade interesting and fun. Dont change anything based on what anyone says here , that would be utterly ridiculous . What I have learned in toucharcade is their is a huge amount of complaining. Everyone is perticular and picky about everything. There is a huge sense of everyone wanting to be catered to and it's like babies crying. They is no way to stop the crying , there is no point of pleasing people. You either love it or hate it , but toucharcade is the best show in town.
Hi guys, I didn't notice this thread until yesterday and I decided to send in my information. The first post said that you guys are always looking for writers so I thought you might have a few extra spots. Thanks for considering and I look forward to writing lots of reviews for TouchArcade!
Hi, I would like to part of this team, if the opportunity is still valid, I am from middle east region, and wish to be part of the team. I can take care of game reviews, (Even Arabic APPS/Games) is fine with me. Please have a look on my two games, 1- "Panda Escape" http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=98060 2- "Oops! Its Raining" http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=76132 Thanks
To all of you Toucharcade writers, how long did it take Hodapp to reply to your application? I haven't heard anything for about a month. Thanks
Just quoting this again since some seem to have missed it. I haven't gone through freelancer applications in quite a while, the amount I've gotten is incredible and the slow response time is more due to my personal bandwidth to handle more people than anything else. I've got a new writer starting this week, and will likely be revisiting applications sometime after that depending on how they work out.
Video reviews Wouldn't worry about long reviews too much. Those who prefer shorter ones can just skip to the conclusion. EDIT: You could even put a 'skip to conclusion' button at the top for those who haven't figured out how to do it manually. How about some video reviews like appspy?
