Not really gonna say if it was the best endless runner of the year, cause it doesn't play all that well on hdmi cause of the portrait only mode, but I will say on record that this game has one of the best tilt controls ever on ios for an endless runner game. Fantastic tilt controls! And, a little birdy told me that there is a good chance that this game will have icade joystick support, which will probably make me join sink or swim and frost in proclaiming this the best endless runner in awhile. So coolness! And the game is only a buck, and the developer is way cool!!! Edit Bellyfish is way better than Super Mole Escape, and the tilt controls handle far better in my opinion.
In the end, whilst I liked them both, Blitz Brigade gets my vote. It's so much fun. I think Heroes and Castles should be on here, since the new update makes it a whole new game
I hope your are really enjoying Bellyfish! And I seen you name TR:OZ quite a few times and I usually like what you like, so Im buying it after GoT last episode which I will see now. Edit: Double currency, loads of IAP... These are the things that made me pass. Will not support dual currencies. Sorry :/ Indiana Stone is a complete package so to me its not an endless runner per se, and if it were it would make that list too. TR2 had a thing I didnt like at that time, Revives, but Im used to them by now. RUA2 got deleted, didnt hold my interest for long but I cant point at what specifically... and didnt buy Slayin so I dont know about that. Should I?
Had to go with Bellyfish. The fine tuned tilt controls with the ability to calibrate in a second during the game, coupled with the beautiful graphics and plethora of objectives make this one of my favorite games of 2013 so far.
"Free" is an exaggeration. You can only play a short introductory segment before paying at least $0.99.
Yeah... Just realized that. Just started playing this too, and liking what im getting into. I love these poll as they give me more a push to trying out hidden gems i am only initially slightly interested in.
It was a hard choice for me between Stone of Life and Alien Shooter. In the end I had to vote for Alien Shooter because it's a complete game with an up front price.
You gathered incorrectly Sorcery had at least 1 invalid vote (zero poster who joined TA after the poll began), and I see none for Star Command so that takes second.
