So, uh, I edited the OP and posted the results from last week's poll. Now don't hit me if there's anything wrong, it's my first time doing that! I didn't detect any foul play in the votes so I think those are officials now.
Fantastic week. Got all these except for Rebirth of Fortune 2 and the new PikPok joint, and I have to say that despite all of the others being amazing, I literally had my girlfriend (who I haven't been with in 7 months) playing Redline Rush in my arms. That alone..along with the fact that the game is INCREDIBLE! makes it an easy choice. Also, get CK3 and Bombcats, or you cannot be my friend.
CK1+2 didn't do anything for me... should I still check out CK3, or risk not being your 'friend' anymore... ??
They didn't do anything for me either, and I'm totally in love with 3. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who's actually tried it and doesn't think it's just awesome. It honestly doesn't have the right to be as cool as it is, but it is. >_>
Can Knockdown 3 got my vote. Never played the first 2, but this one feels pretty special. Bursting with quality. Haven't checked out Bombcats yet, I will do soon.
Lots of great games this week (first time in a while that I nominated 5 and it could have been 6), but Redline Rush has stolen most of my gaming time away from. Can't get much more addictive.
My vote goes to Redline Rush Runner-up is Turbo Racing League Dissapointment of the week is Gravity Guy 2
Wow... Frozen Synapse is doing quite well. Im glad Redline Rush isnt being ignored at all. All in all, a great week. Except for Gravity Guy 2, each one i got this week was pretty decent at the least, while some are definitely great.
Because it has nothing to do with the first GG. It's now an average endless runner with high priced boosts and upgrades. No power-ups to collect and only 3 different obstacles. Like I said in the main thread, this will be a freemium game with tons of ads next month.
Yeah, I actually passed on the game after reading it wasn't really at all like the first Gravity Guy. I don't know why they messed with the good parts of the game. Oh well, dollar saved for another game. May have to check out the Android version of Frozen Synapse, although I'm a little intimidated with some saying it could use an in-game tutorial (rather videos). I like RTS games but perhaps more on the casual side.
I think redline racer is great especially on hdmi tv. Even on my new ipad it is pretty impressive. I like games like this and catch the ark cause they make great tv games. Though I wish it had icade support. Oh, yesterday, played a bunch of 3 way Tabletop racing games, and it was great!
