Yeah... After completing Trigger City and bring... Well... VERY underwhelmed... I added Redline Rush instead.
I'm edging that way myself. I'm ashamed I ignored it. It takes all of the best pasts of casual gaming and puts them into one app. Somehow it even manages to include IAP that doesn't annoy people.
Daddy Was a Thief was last week. After seeing a few of you fight to get Rebirth of Fortune 2 into eligibility, I decided to check it out. Great game so far and changed my list to include it. You guys should really post some impressions in the game's thread. I'm not sure if I would have picked it up if I hadn't seen people like SV happy to have it available to nominate.
Feel free to do it if you like, its your thread after all, Im just your substitute for when you are away
Calculate the stats and send me the information (plus when the poll should end) if you want. I don't mind setting it up.
Thanks for the offer but its already done... Ladies and gentleman, Poll is up so lets see who wins! Edit: Also a big THANK YOU to the ones who edited your posts adding later nominations!
Hard choices... I loved Jacob Jones but I feel like Bombcats is a bit of an underdog in the forums so I voted for it.
For me its easy too... Little Viking is very awesome and the surprise of the week, also the first rogue-like style game that I liked so far, so its my clear vote this week. Runner Up is Jacob Jones could get my vote but its episode 1, so when episode 5 hits its there when I will know how good the game really is (the complete thing). Special mention is Bombcats... well I dont have installed now, but its from Radiangames and its sure to be good. Reintalling after its size its reduced.
Haha, I sometimes forget what it's like to be a regular user. Totally forgot you're able to make polls if you have the first post and all.
This made me go grab Bombcats to try it out - I'm usually terrible at physics puzzlers, but so far I quite like it. Pretty forgiving.. and adorable.
The reason I think Bombcats is going to have a tough time on this poll is that you really have to put a lot of time in just to open up the full experience. It starts out as a fairly simple, easy physics puzzler, and evolves constantly as you play, hours in new game modes, new characters, new mechanics, etc are still being unlocked. There's a crap ton of content and fun but by the time most people begin to realize it, this poll will likely be over
Bombcats was my second place game this week - #1 is Rebirth Of Fortune 2. I've been a fan of the series since I had a 2nd gen, and even though most that try it out will be upset that it's not as deep as FFT, or something similar... but it fits right in line with why I fell in love with the series in the first place. Simple to understand, straightforward TBS with some nice visuals, polished animations, great UI and easy to navigate menus, ect... With this one also having multiplayer, it's a shoe-in for one of my top GOTY for 2013. 25 units, 35 types of enemies, over 1,000 stages with a nice, deep story to go along with it all... I'm in heaven. =oD
