Lol. Ascension will not win for sure. I'm guessing Modern Combat 3 will win. My vote will probably go to Mission Europa or Monsters Ate My Condo (I've spent a ton of time on Mission Europa and Monsters Ate My Condo was a lot of fun!)
I'm pretty sure that one of the games released in the december holiday rush will just come in and steal the gold.
I actually don't. Last December was headlined by perhaps the most anticipated game in TA history. We also got the best iOS racer to ever be released as well as the best looking game released at the time. I just don't see that this year. Sure, all the games look great, but none of them really scream 'history making'.
Meh, we might be surprised, who knows? But yeah, last December was probably the best iOS release month we've ever had. It was just hit after hit after hit.
Lol, it is. Are you feeling the hype? 113 posts on the upcoming thread..after over a month? I sure am not. I'm looking forward to it though. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one and still play the multiplayer occasionally.
Not feeling much hype either, but I never liked Infinity Blade in the first place Just thought it was worth pointing out as a possible history-making title of this December.
I'm thinking I'd probably go for kof-i, grand prix story or death rally I'll need to have a look through a list before then though just to make sure I haven't forgotten something.
I'm personally rooting for one of my favourites released for iOS, and it was released in Jan '11. *drum rolls* BATTLEHEART!!! I have a lot to sift through though. Edit: Got my list of current releases that are my Top 10. The perfect list of games that I have dumped the absolute most time in.
I would love to see this in the top ten as well. Along with games like Paladog. Simply because they were released way back at the beginning of the year and I still go back to playing them. I mean isn't that what a Game of the Year is? Staying power? Holding your interest? Definitely not hype and I probably just mentioned two of the least hyped games of the year! If you want a time sink - then Tiny Tower would be it. I am done with the floors and yet still can't put it down - stock piling money for the next update. At this point I probably have enough for 2 or even 3 updates! Anyway, it will be interesting to see what gets nominated.
Agreed man. Battleheart, despite it not having as much content updates as I would have hoped for so far, even still has enough grinding and loot seeking that I have to get everything top tier and max leveled. I just keep coming back to it... it's amazing. Never really got into Tiny Tower, however I totally see the appeal lol. It's in my top ten thus far. So far I have (and not in any particular order yet): Battleheart Mage Gauntlet, Zombieville 2 MC3 Deadlock Dead Space Starfront Shadow Era Super Crossfire HD 1-Bit Ninja These are just the games that I personally have been playing a lot of (and the older ones) still playing, a ton of. ^.^
I mean don't get me wrong, I played tons of iOS games this year, but these I just so happened to dump more time then others. Others that didn't make the cut were: Pocket RPG (iPhone Edition) Final Fantasy III (though if I include the SNES/DS/iOS total time I've played this game, it would beat them all LOL) Call of Mini: Zombies Order & Chaos SFIV: Volt But like I said, that's about it as far as most games played more than twice and not dumped in a App Collection graveyard.

MC3 Battleheart Dead Space StarFront Infinity Blade 2 Jetpack Joyride Pocket RPG (underrated if you ask me) Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Final Fantasy 3 Order and Chaos The last 4 were all really close with other apps. I'm really not sureabout O&C... But Battleheart and MC3 are way ahead for me. Maybe the next two are kinda close, but...

No but the iPad 2 is out for GTA 3 if that's what you're referring to... And I remember playing helsing over the summer and I remember it being fairly knew... Better double check on that one.
