Guys, there's no need to dump on the guy. He's just enthusiastic, you know; it's not a crime. More like him or her, we need at TA.

As for Arn's clarification, it's a shame that the resources and even a viewpoint about usefulness don't exist.

Frankly, sometimes early-launched website apps are often to show the world that you're a leader in new media and not just a follower. There is an app for the Archdiocese of New Orleans (!) called iFaith that I saw the other day, which made me think, "Wow, these people are on the ball. They have an app before even the Vatican." It reminds me of when the internet was starting, and some of the major companies lolligaggled before they got a website. By the time they did, it seemed like, "Sheesh, welcome to the party...finally".

IOW, it's as much for the impression as for the usefulness, however unpopular it is to say that.

Well just get a dev, I'm sure all the mods of TA wouldn't mind if you made an app for them as long as they get a certain cut of the profit

Why don't you just click the little '+' button at the bottom of safari on your iPod, and add the webpage to your home screen. they have a nice little app icon already prepared

Never used the app. Just use Byline for all my RSS feeds.

Btw, I cant speak for the others but what we need is a forum app from TA instead of a TA Blog App. Using iPhone safari to browse and use the forums is a PITA. You cant even search properly. And try and paste something in the search dialog box sometime. Safari crashed every single time I tried to do that. Have to use advanced search page instead.

If not an app then atleast consider a better mobile version of TA so that it`s easier to use with safari.

If you ever consider investing in a dedicated app, something which combines appshopper, TA Blog and full forum accessibility will be great. And why just TA. The same could be used to access MR forums too. I`m sure we`d find a lot of people here who`d pay 5-10 bucks for it. And we wont even ask for promos from you ;)

But I guess I`ll be waiting a long time here. Just hoping that the wait`s not forever :)
