Oh, I'm the one who needs an attitude adjustment? When I go to get it adjusted, should I ask for one just like yours? And while I'm getting my attitude adjustment, shall I pick up a reality check for you? I'm not at all sorry to break it to you that we are indeed just a horde of anonymous forum members. We have no affiliation with this website. When I read the Touch Arcade front page, I expect to see Touch Arcade's opinion. If I want to see what the masses have to say, I will go to the forum or the iTunes reviews or I will ask an actual real live person. This website has no obligation to give us a voice in its editorial copy. Welcome to the Internet. Most online newspapers and magazines have comments sections or forums that have amassed loyal followings. Should The Economist give a shout out to its readers when the general sentiment among them is contrary? Where this entitlement comes from, I'm just not sure. I sometimes think that people are experiencing "forum life" before they get to experience real life.
I think this is baloney for a number of reasons: 1) Every single review site that i read (that has reviewed it) has give it 4/5, 9/10, 90%. etc. Obvioulsy TA's review is not some outlier in terms of praise. All the sites love it. 2) Why is it a better story if after talking about how great it looks for months (something pretty much everyone agreed on before it came out), for them to say it turned out great. Its a much better story if they can say it didn't live up to its hype. Most of the readers of this site (myself included) love the game. I don't think we and TA are loving it just to insult you. I would guess that most of us (myself included) didn't even consider your opinion of the game when we made our opinion of it. So don't feel insulted. Michael
