hi guys unfortunately the uptake of Touch Soccer hasnt been enough on its own to pay for an update. As an indie developer i cant do all the things that i really want to do as quickly as i'd like. However, once Monkey Tennis is out, i will be doing update 1.1 to touch soccer, and also a lite version which will hopefully boost sales so I can do update 1.2. cheers, and thanks so much for the support. I'm actually positively surprized with this game. I didn't expect much but the gameplay are so good. It's very addicting. Online multiplayer would be awesome
hi Morgan ! good ideas for the lite or free for a limited time but try to make a new tutorial for casual gamer ^^ maybe one day monkey tennis use the same gameplay " in fps view " tps view whit control slide is good but better in fps view.
Registered to Touch Arcade just to post this: Touch Football 3D is the best football game I've ever played. I.e. it's IMHO better than Emlyn Hughes International Soccer, Kick Off, Sensible (World Of) Soccer, ISS Pro / Pro Evolution Soccer, FIFA, among the others. Morgan, thanks a lot for having coded it! I won't try to explain why the game is so great, but basically it has already been said: you feel like playing real football. This means not that it's a simulation, but rather that you feel rushes of adrenaline, pride for your skills, disappointment for your failures, hate against the opponents. And all this because of the control system (and physical model) of the game, that, instead of copying the old and pretty boring FIFA/PES paradigm, capitalize all the potentiality of a touchscreen device: you are free to make whatever move you want, no more 8 directions and 3 or 4 available moves (pass, shoot, cross) - you have the ball and your feet (i.e. your finger), do whatever you want with them! -. And (fundamental aspect!) everything is designed with care, there is no weak point in the game that ruins all the good things. TF3D could be not for all tastes (but does such a game exist?), but I guess that if 100 people will give it a try 50 or more will love it! I know, the graphics (that perfectly fit the game, BTW) and the originality of the control system (and to many, I guess, of the first-person perspective) could act as a deterrent for many; but if back in the days Sensible Soccer with its tiny players had worldwide success there is hope. TF3D just needs to gain momentum in the App Store... How to produce such word of mouth is behind my know-how, but please do something: let the game be free for a week, add a free limited version, I don't know... I hope that the game will be a hit, because you deserve it... and because you'll be pushed to update it / make a sequel! --- While we're at it, let me ask some help from the TF3D fans: What are the settings that a real pro should use? I guess "auto-select player: off" is a must, but what about orientation and tilt? Are them just a matter of taste? Challenges: how do you score "volleys off the wall"? I've tried everything I can think of (e.g. shot that touches the wall and then enters the goal; or making the ball bounce on the wall and then scoring intercepting it before it touches the ground), but nothing works... UPDATE INCLUDES: * All the World Cup teams. * World Cup mode has all the correct groups from the tournament. * An optional control pad for player movement, rather than the swipe. * and.... An "Auto running" option - this is my favourite addition. Instead of the swipe to run control, which wasn't universally popular, your player will run for you, possitioning itself in a good shooting/defending position. This means you only have to concentrate on shooting, making the game less intense - but probably a lot more fun for more people. Some of you said that i shouldn't add the control pad, as its selling out on the inovation, hopefully the auto-running feature counter balances this. LITE VERSION: The lite version was submitted at the same time, and lets you play single matches with a few of the teams.
