    Thanks, it does get crazy. I know i made it, but i dont know a game that gets as manic either - like the real 5-a-side game :)

    I really wouldn't bother with joystick control. I think THAT, would be what would actually make this game feel unwieldy.

    The controls are perfect as they are. One thing I've noticed about feedback for this game: nobody seems to think it's just "ok." People either love it or they don't get it. That tells me this might be the kind of game that just takes time to catch on. When something is good, THIS good, it has a way of rising to the top eventually. Have faith, give it some time. I have around 200 games on my Touch, and this is the one I come back to the most by far. There's honestly something special here. Perhaps you could research any possible way to have online multiplayer? That more than anything else is what this game truly needs.

    The game uses the teams home kit by default (thats what most people wanted) - but if you play against germany as someone with a white kit (England maybe) the germans will use their away kit.

    So, I tried it and I really like it. The controls work really well for the game. They take some getting used to, but it's hard to imagine something different working for this type of a game. Will probably try out the league mode soon. Cheers.

    Are there any updates planned for this at all? This is STILL the game I come back to most, since release. Would be great to see something new. Even just online leaderboards? OF? Anything?

    Hmm. This game shouldn't be having disappointing sales. Who's the developer? Is he around?

    What? No passing no nothing all you do is just shooting from all over the pitch?? And the AI seems retarded.

    I love football but can anyone please tell me how this is any fun? (genuine question)

    I don't think someone could tell you what makes a game fun. I'm assuming you've played it and not just going on the videos? All I can say is if you've played at least a half dozen matches and you don't "get" it, then it's probably just not for you. No harm done, not everyone likes the same games.

    I'm not a huge fan of football myself, I'm just a fan of good games. And this game is glorious, warts and all. It isn't perfect. There are definitely some tweaks it could use, as well as some extra features. Most of all it needs online multiplayer. But even as it stands, it is the most important game on the app store right now. (And you can quote me on that.)

    To the dev: if you turn up back at this thread again, can you PM me please? Thank you.

    @Gabrien:
    Yeah I guess so. It's just that I'm a football lover so I really want to know if there's anything I'm missing to enjoy this game. Maybe just not for me. Wouldn't say the game's bad at all because I love the idea behind it. It's just that I couldn't get into the game, same case with Nova, GTA, etc. Good games, but just not for me.

    Hi don_k - I'm not sure if you've had a bad first impression of this game or if you've unfortunately been misinformed about it by other people.

    If you're a footy fan then I would highly recommend picking this game up. It's a wholly original take on football.

    The first-person view and the controls take some getting used to, but once the game clicks it is a whole lot of fun.

    There is passing in the game, and you don't just shoot from all over the pitch. In fact, you can't score from your own half so it's pointless shooting from that far back. It takes quite a bit of skill to get the ball up the pitch and to then accurately shoot. I've not seen any problems with the AI - I certainly wouldn't call it 'retarded' or too easy.

    There are elements of Subbuteo in Touch Football, plus some table football elements but overall it's just a quirky 5-a-side arena version of football and I really like it.
