The problem with those statements is that they're easily refuted. You say the game is too confusing. Well, it's confusing to you. To me and many others it's perfectly comprehensible. You say the gameplay is crappy. I can tell you for a fact that I don't enjoy "crappy gameplay" at all, but I enjoy this game immensely. We can't argue with the fact that you haven't enjoyed the game, but we can certainly argue when you try to define it in a way that doesn't make sense to us.
Because your not objectif, i just finished the world cup in semi-pro with the french " cheater " team ^^ maybe " crappy " is not the better definition but am very disappointed, many default spoil the game !
That's right: I'm not objective. Neither are you. I have to say, for someone who doesn't like a game, you sure are spending a lot of time with it. (And posting on this thread, I should add).
http://itunes.apple.com/app/touch-football-3d/id343044795 8 reviews 1/5 stars in the french store :/ http://www.iphon.fr/post/2009/12/11/Jouez-au-football-au-doigt-sur-iPhone-et-iPod-Touch-%28video%29 first french review but negative comments :/ " good concept but, ugly, confused, unfinished "
Please give it up. You are not going to convince people who like the game that they shouldn't like it. EDIT: Not that it matters, but the game has 3 1/2 starts in the US and two 5 star reviews in the UK.
Hmm, if its bad, why is being featured in What We're Playing in the AppStore? If its so bad, why don't you create your own game, then we can critique it. Sauce Digital is one person, so lets see you do better. Please do, I'm curious as to what piece of sh^t you'll make.
here are all my ideas and improvement ideas -leaugue mode :distinct order of matches (always the same order like in a normal leaugue not a random order) -insane difficulty -replays for goals and tricks ( maybe youtube upload) -stats : after match ( like shots on goal ) and at all -twitter integration: WOOHOO just beat Brazil with Spain 5:0 on TS3D -team editor ( give it a name, choose trickots, and the team improves with each match ) -make your own player -listen to music while playing -stadium atmosphere
a small thing that would increase realism: a penalty shootout should end once the result is defined. For example, if a team scored the first three penalties and the other none of them, that's where the shootout should end. This is how it generally works in soccer competitions.
Agreed. Unfortunately, for many people the app store is like a fast food restaurant. They want instant gratification cheap. Anything that takes more than a couple of minutes of work tends to get immediatly tossed aside. It took me two games to get the controls. -- after that, I don't even have to think about them.
Yep that pretty much sums up the AppStore pretty accurately. Oh well though, hopefully its gotten enough exposure to keep it going for awhile.
Hope so, too. It actually makes me sad that Touch Arcade has not given the game any front page coverage. It's one of the most unique sports titles in the App Store, and probably the only one that even approaches the experience of playing the real sport. It's also amazingly deep for $.99 game.
It took me ages to get used to the controls but once you do its a great game. I agree people don't give themselves time to get used to the controls. Think a League mode would be a good addition to the game.
