Looks to be good fun and thankfully a "non-traditional" control scheme and viewpoint have been employed I love it when devs think outside the box.
I just wanted to mention that this appears to bring new meaning to the genre of FPS, literally The video. (nice job btw) looks like it has flawless framerates and excellent transition speeds. I'll be camped out, in line to get this-the term "innovative" comes to mind. Can't wait to get this one. Thanks for keeping us in the loop, Morgan.
For years I have dreamed of a football (American) game where you play as the player, in a First Person View and the helmet blocking some of your vision as you, the player, score the game winning touchdown and see what the real players see when they do the same. Even though this isn't American Football (I love soccer too, I play it) and it isn't on an Xbox 360, it still looks great and will be an insta-buy for me.
Thanks, we thought it gave a more natural feeling of control - emulating the movements in the actual sport, using fingers. An analogue stick just felt wrong, and also got in the way of the action.
Thanks, hopefully its something a bit different - its quite close to how real 5 a side feels. It gets pretty hectic - swiping manically to get the ball away from your goal, then trying to get a shot in before the opposition clear the ball.
