wow, do those graphics run smoothly?? hmm.. not really into boxing games but I think I'll try it...this looks like a good game to finally test my 3gs
Trust me guys, you need to buy it!!! You will not be disappointed, this game is too much fun! The controls are very innovative and you'll love the rewards system just like Plus+.
imma buy this in a little while. Been waiting for this for a long time. Slapshot did you try out the career yet?
No, not yet, but I'm very impressed with the engine of it and have already KO'd somebody in quick play.
oh and also. can you take the three KO thing in the settings? like you win the match if you ko your opponent 3 times. can you take that out? Because i think the game is too easy to knock someone out and i would love to take that setting off.
This is a pretty impressive game from a technical standpoint. I like how you can do the different punch types with the different gestures, the controls actually feel surprisingly natural. That being said, I'm not really in to these kind of games and much prefer arcade fighters like Punch Out. You guys who have it so far, what other kind of boxing games would you compare it to? It's a really neat game, just not my cup of tea. I have a feeling Touch KO is going to be huge, those 360 games like Fight Night are massive franchises and this is the closest thing to that on the App Store.
When you KO'd that chump, how did he fall? I remember some of the videos looked like the fighters would fall oddly.
Yeah, the game seems to use some kind of ragdoll physics when you knock guys down. A dude I was just fighting fell on his butt and both legs went up in the air, it was awesome.
For any of those people wondering about controls, as Hodapp said they feel very natural and the tutorial is spot on with teaching them.
Here is a pretty cool Youtube video of how boxers get knocked out in real life... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmE4DHPrrnk
they move kind of slow but it looks like you can improve your stats in career...pretty impressive graphics and really responsive so far
