The AI is 'broken' as another mentioned on page 21 in depth. But I think the best way to make this game ultimate (seeing as footwork isn't an option unless you wanna scramble with the accelerometer) is to add body punches. Divide the screen into 4 quadrants and tap in each area for that punch (ie. Lower left tap for left arm body jab)

That would improve the game and break up blocking standoffs

Yea I dont think moving would work out to the better for this game, but I think the quadrants idea would work. That way you could do a lower guard and upper guard block and do some tweak punches (or atleast more different types of punches)

For example, to do an uppercut, you swipe vertically on the whole screen. To do a half uppercut, you swipe vertically only on the top quadrant. The lower quadrants can be for body jabs, upper for upper/face jabs. Splitting it in 4 could create a lot of new punches with different swipe gestures in different quadrants.

I like the quadrants idea for body punches. I think it would be nice to have the lower part of the screen for a body punch to either side. I don't think you need a half-uppercut, because that punch doesn't really exist...the uppercut is meant to sneak between the guard and catch your opponent on the chin. If you throw an uppercut, you're going for the head, and it's all about torque. I think the crosses and uppercuts work well. As for the blocking, I think keep it as is even if you add body punches. A good block is not just about guarding your face. When you block in boxing you should also be keeping your elbows as close together as possible so you are blocking not only your face but also your body. Overall, the addition of body shots would be great though!

Definatly. Everyone should watch this. He may not be as good as Pacman but he has huge heart. I'm only 16 training to one day be pro and Gatti's heart and idea of never giving up is something I want to aspire to. Legend!

I think I'll wait till they add body shots. Without them it's not boxing.

Another thing that would be nice is implementing a few mini games for your strength(lifting weights), stamina(speed rope), and agility(speed bag) training so you can earn skillpoints and distribute them based off how you did on your training opposed to receiving a maximum set amount before each fight. I like to feel as if I earned all my stats as i progress. Not to fond of the stat cap either.

Also since there are so many fights a trophy room would be nice for your belts and trophies(if they had them) to give more of a sense of accomplishment with different types of bouts/tournaments. Weight classes could provide more in depth career mode and multiplayer(if implemented.)wagering belts on multiplayer? lol.

I cant wait to see what future updates are in store for us. Great game. :D

ya it's amazing how much better and more enjoyable a game can be even with just little stuff like that. I hope the devs are listening because they need to put body shots in

Body shots are a great idea, and on our list of wants. It's an idea we like but just unfortunately didn't have time to add before release (will require making the AI aware of them, and quite a bit of testing to make sure they're balanced).

Our first update will probably just address difficulty (adding an expert mode with harder AI for you folks, our hardcore players), and a few bugfixes. We'd like to get that out for you folks ASAP, and then we'll see about adding some icing on the cake like the bodyblows!

There is a graphical bug I think that you should look at during the knockdown sequences. Most of the time the camera gets stuck behind the ropes or other objects. Also, sometimes the framerate slows down to a halt here.

I was a little disappointed with Touch KO.
The gameplay is not as immersive as it could've been.

    Hi Matt Mechtley,
will your address the slow punches in future updates? It looks like fighting underwater.

LOL. I was just in a match, and because of the ragdoll physics, when the enemy was KO'd, his leg turned backwards. Completely. I saw the back of his knee. while his head was facing up.

Other experiences: A split, feet over head, other contortions.

I just wanted to share some news for all you users that are disappointed at this game because of the AI or something like that (Like Big Albie maybe?). The PR of Chillingo and I have been sharing e-mails and the PR said the devs of Touch KO are working on a update to make a "Expert Mode" thus assuming it will have a harder AI..
