Noise.io is awesome, I had it since it first came out. I still use it regularly, although I'm still waiting for the update.
The break effect abruptly slows down the music to a halt and stops it. The EQ has multitouch and allows you to adjust the low, mids, and highs.
Thanks for the reply! That's actually called a "brake" function and is not an effect, I think they should change the description to reflect this. I know what an EQ does, just wondering if it is full kill. If it is, you shouldn't be able to hear the track at all with all the knobs/faders set all the way down.
Hey! I was trying to load a recorded sample, and it crashed when I went back to the setting menu. I'm having trouble setting loops... I did one by accident but I can't seem to figure out how to do it by following the steps in the manual. Tips? Or video example? Thanks.
I can help you out bro. So what you wanna do is hit the cue button that is specific to the music track. A few buttons will then pop up saying Loop, Clear, and a button that looks like a refresh symbol. Go to a point in the song where u want it to being looping then hit the loop button and it will give the exact time in the song. Then turn on the refresh looking button- now when u replay the song, it will automatically loop it from the point where u hit the loop button. Hope this helps, if need be, I can make a video..
Nice, I personally would LOVE a video if you can! You seem like you know this stuff really well, and Im just fumblin around, learning by trial and error @Fuzzy the EQ is multi touch btw, which i love! ONE COMPLAINT Amidio: I don't have Facebook or Twitter, I wish the tracks were available for those many of us with MySpace
Thanks! Got it! Any tips on fine tuning the loop? I can't seem to get the +/- buttons to do anything, and the adjustments are too drastic when tapping cue/loop.
The +/- buttons are simply for adjusting the track pitch. A much faster method to adjusting the track pitch is simply pinching on the music wave with two fingers.
According to the manual: "You can fine-adjust the Cue/Loop marks by tapping Cue/Loop buttons AND the +\- buttons on the opposite track"
The secret technique to fine-adjust cue/loop points: Set the cue point Tap and hold the same orange cue button with timecode on it While holding that button, tap the + - pitch correction buttons ON THE OTHER TRACK SIDE Watch as the cue line indicator moves Tap the + - buttons as many times as needed while holding the orange cue button (1 tap = move 1 pixel) The same can be done with the loop orange button. The reason why you have to use the +- buttons on the opposite side is because there is no enough space for the thumbs on the same side.
In any updates if there was a way to make smooth loops (like the way Virtual DJ/Cue allows) that'd be amazing.
This is strange, Twitter seems to work fine for everyone. Check your Internet connection and / or username/password?
couldn't have said it better myself... Lol so, I heard u guys submitted or are working on an update for noise .io? what's gonna be in the update? Also, ru guys planning on developing any more apps? Thanks!
Ahhhh ok, I wasn't noticing anything but as soon as I STOPPED the track, and TAPPED the +/- I figured it out and saw the line move pixel by pixel. Great! Thanks. Amazing App.
