9th Dawn Crabitron Dungelot Dungeon Plunder Hoplite Isle of Bxnes King Cashing 2 Little Inferno Oceanhorn Starborn Anarkist It really hurt to leave Quadropus off the list, amongst others. Honourable Mention to Octagon, Beat Drift, iCycle and Fiz. I haven't intentionally left off ports or big developer titles either, so I'm very surprised to not see any on there!

Had to drop Danmaku Unlimited 2 for IB3. The Soul Hunter update for IB3 just made it too good for me to exclude from my list. I have updated my list which was on the 4th or 5th page i think.
1) gta:san andreas 2) deus ex: The fall 3) xcom 4) infinity blade 3 5) bloodmasque 6) limbo 7) republique 8) walking dead season 2(first episode) 9) epoch.2 10) dead effect

Edit january 3rd to add Type Rider and Dungelot Great thread! A few very good 2013 games that I particularly enjoyed playing on iPad this year (no order): Warhammer Quest XCom Block Fortress The BlockHeads Pixel People Pocket Trains SmallWorld 2 Type : rider Dungelot WQ is a must play for TBS players, with incredible polish and attention to details. XCom is an amazing port of -at the time- current gen. Block Fortress is a great mix between Tower defense, block building and FPS. Blockheads is a very well made 2D Minecraft like with a lot of character. Pixel People is a great and fun pixel art city builder with a lot of ideas. Pocket Trains is a well done train strategy game with nice depth (although I prefer the older Pocket planes). Smallworld 2 had a massive update this year, this board game is one of my favorites on iPad (be sure to check Ticket to Ride also!) Type:rider is a beautiful experience, a must have for design, books, history or fonts lovers. Dungelot is an excellent rogue like These are games that I played a lot and regularly, and most of their respective developers updated the apps consistently through the year with new content. I got a huge backlog of unplayed games though, so I'll take a close look at the other nominees To find out which games I should play sooner than later
Edited my original noms to swap out Danmaku Unlimited 2 for Skulls of the Shogun. Yes, it's another port, but it's a hell of a game. And I got it before it dropped temporarily to free so no influence there. This is still so tough. So many games deserve to be nominated.
There are 3 iOS games on Metro Gamecentral's Top 20 Video Games of 2013 list. Year Walk (12), Device 6 (14) and Ridiculous Fishing (18) respectively. Bit.Trip Presents... Runner2 (Bit.Trip Run on iOS) is at number 9 but I was reluctant to include that one because their review of that game is based on the Wii U/PS360 version. They also gave Device 6 their award for Best Storytelling and Year Walk the runner-up for Best Indie Game.
Wow... having 2 titles from a single dev for their top 2 is a bit surprising and amazing at the same time.
10: Skulls of the Shogun 9: Oceanhorn 8. Warhammer Quest 7: Doctor Who Legacy 6: Starborn Anarkist 5: Rayman Fiesta Run 4: République 3: LEGO Star Wars Saga 2: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 1: Asphalt 8: Airborne
Badland Year Walk Device 6 Crabitron Oceanhorn Tiny Thief FIST OF AWESOME Kingdom Rush Frontiers Octagon Junk Jack X Have fun counting
Hey, don't forget Hero of Many! I finally got it and it's fantastic. Looks like it's been forgotten since its release, but I read posts saying it was a GOTY contender. Might have to change up my list to include HoM
I am gonna buy not more than 3 games a week in the new year, only the best and what I like, I had too many average games this year and always the same runner and other copycats, not for me anymore. Happy NEW YEAR to all the TA members and friends see you.
