This could be interesting because Oceanhorn and Badland look like they could be the top nominees in the indie poll as well. But nominations vs actual votes can be quite different with the number of people participating. Surprised KOTOR didn't make it. I know it was iPad only but now being universal, thought it would put up some numbers. Regardless, some great games in there and I have trouble deciding my vote.

Interesting and glad to see Oceanhorn and Badland on the lead. They are indeed the cream of the crop, best of the best and genuine to iOS. Will have a hard time to decide between them, but the darker one is on the lead for me. And Slayin´ almost made the poll too, that was a surprise

With what we have in the poll, it's between Boson X and Infinity Blade 3 for me, and well, Boson X it is.
I had to go for Xcom. It might not be the very best on this poll, but I loved and I think it deserves it.
Very tough for me. Badland, Oceanhorn, Boson X, Warhammer Quest and Asphalt 8 were my top contenders among the finalists. But while I hate voting for a "big guy", I spent by far the most time with Asphalt 8. Say what you want about Gameloft, but it's an amazing racer.
Voted Badland. It may be simple to control, but that's what makes the game so impressive. Not only does the game have a style all its own, the diverse, varied mix of physics puzzles and fast paced action was molded from a one touch control scheme. And it's probably the shining example of premium games
I have to say, looking over this list, any of theses could and should win. I know only one will, but they were all such good games, I really don't mind.
Nice to see that only two of the nominees are big ports, and only two are from big IOS developers (Gameloft, Chair). I'd consider the rest smaller indie titles
I posted noticed in the threads of all nominated games; hopefully that will contribute to discussion without resulting in any suspicious or spam voting.
My vote went to Warhammer Quest, I definitely spent the most time with this game this year and had the most fun playing it. I just hope we haven't seen the end of new content updates but I'll keep playing either way.
Warhammer quest over Xcom simply because i play it more, even with some bugs still running around in it.
It's early but WQ has sprinted to an early lead. Even though I voted for A8, Warhammer was in my top 10 so I'd be happy to see it win. As others have mentioned, they're all great games, although I haven't played Junk Jack X (not my type of game but I know it got a lot of praise) or the iOS version of San Andreas (did play the console version though).
