I don't think so as it was released 13 hours ago, so on Saturday and the eligible games only last to friday included
Here is the outcome of nominations: Air Supply SOS 11 RGB Express 4 Anomaly Defenders 3 Cursed Treasure 3 Splode'N'Die 3 Starbase Annex 2 ---------------------Qualifying Titles--------------------- Smarter Than You Shades Loot Hero Smash the Mall Vier Minute Cosmophony
Think it's the first time ever I haven't hesitated or hummed and harred or waited until I've played everything before voting. Air Supply hands down.
The only other game on the list that I'm interested in is RGB Express - Mini Truck Puzzle. Despite typically sucking at that type of puzzler Pocket Gamer's glowing review plus positive impressions in the thread means that I will buy it eventually. Of course my vote goes to Air Supply - SOS. Ever since QS mentioned it in the Air Supply - Infinite thread I've been looking forward to playing this game and it hasn't disappointed. Once the Game Center stuff is fixed it'll make an already great game even better. This game is now on my "best of 2014" list.
My vote went to Cursed Treasure 2, Anomoly Defender was a very close second. A great week for TD fans.
My vote went to Anomaly Defenders, with Cursed Treasure 2 being a very close second. Best week for tower defense in a long time. I've been going back and forth between those two.
My only nomination this week was for Air Supply - SOS. That game just makes me happy. It's seems so simple at a glance, yet it's brimming with content and personality. A lot of games have a few excellent qualities; whether it's exceptional visuals, great controls, or any number of other attributes. With Air Supply - SOS, you have the complete package. Everything it sets out to do, it does, to a glimmering shine. Please, buy this game and give it your time. It may not seem like much on the surface, but don't be fooled. It's crammed with content, and will barely put a dent in your precious storage space. If you're like me, you'll find yourself losing HOURS of time without even realizing it. Ok, now that I've gushed like crazy about my vote, I have to say that another game I really liked this week (which surprisingly didn't make it to the voting stage) was Pumped BMX 2. It's a great trick chaining game with tons of charm and a really cool control setup. Another easy recommendation for fans of the genre.
Loot Hero did not qualify for GOTW but for some reason someone nominated it; had there been a fluke where a ton of people nominated it Loot Hero would have ultimately been disqualified.
Yeah its a bit strange when people vote for a game which has been out nearly a year. Specially when the thread says game of the week for the releases for that particular week !!! Still my faith in humanity has been fixed, nice to see Air Supply running away with this
Easy vote for Air Supply, no competition for me. Now this coming week will be a whole different beast!
