Goblin sword Fotonica Hyper trip Rope n fly 4 I can't believe there has been no love for the last two. Hyper trip is a very great game.
Goblin Sword MUJO It's taken me a while to get to grips with Mujo, but really like the risk/reward of building huge combos.

Touch Arcade forums' Game of the Week Poll The poll is now live, as paulkane noted, participants are encouraged to discuss their choices. I posted a notice in the thread of all nominated games. Developer may not vote for their own app. Only pre-existing active Touch Arcade members may vote, participants can not create a new account just to vote
I may have put in so much hours on Spider-Man Unlimited, but my pick of the week goes to one of the best games in the appstore (IMO, in case anyone goes apepoop on this post)... Goblin Sword. Goblin Sword has awesome retro graphic style, fantastic map layouts complete with traps, platforming sequences, hidden pathways, keys & doors, collectibles, varied enemy types, bonus hardcore levels, different weapons/armors/relics, special attacks, and fat monsters. The hit area of the jump may need to be refined, but overall the controls are responsive and pretty accurate.
Same here, Paul. @EP - good summary. I like everything about it and feel it's worth more than a dollar for sure. Feels like a $2.99 - $4.99 game to me (would have cost much more if it were an indie console game). I like that I can spend 15 minutes here and there trying to fully complete a certain stage that I'm stuck on. There's way more to Goblin Sword than I expected at first, and even then I thought it was great!
Goblin Sword all the way. A great indie title done by a one man band, great graphics, lots of gameplay, superb controls. Very cheap. This is a great example of why iOS gaming can be so good
Goblin Sword. That's been such a refreshing platformer with even a few level achievements involving speed running (and even doing that better than games dedicated to speed running). I'm a huge Dragon Quest fan but I gotta tip the old hat to Goblin Sword. Heck it even runs on the horrid 8gb iPod touch 4. Not many new releases even bother to support tha platform and most that do don't even run well. Yet this game has no such issues.
My vote goes to Goblin Sword aswell. I'm pretty bad at platformers and I rarely find the hidden locations (I have to watch some of the walkthroughs) but it's a great game with many levels for only $1.
This has to be one of the hardest votes for me, it's been a while since I've wanted to vote for so many different games! Dragon Quest I, Partyrs, Kapsula, Goblin Sword, Chronology and Fotonica all could potentially win for me on a different week with less competition. As much as I hate to say it, I'm not really enjoying Phantom Rift so at least that's one less to choose from. I'll have to go for Kapsula though as it's the one that's consumed the most of my free time but that's not a slight against the other games; great week for me.
I wonder what kind of record 15 nominations is, if any? Any old school GoTW voters know? With 9 noms above any other game, the writing was on the wall before the first vote was even placed...
I voted for Dragon Quest 1; maybe it's the nostalgia but I've enjoyed wondering around the world and fighting the streamlined turn based battles. Goblin Sword is fun, but haven't spent as much time with it.
