Duet Game, by Kumobius. Easily a shining example of entrancing and well-designed gameplay. Spellbinding, I believe Andy_C83 described it. Very accurate. How many posts can I sneak a nomination for Duet Game into before someone notices?
We have a 6 way tie for 6th place which would result in only 5 games being included in the poll... ...so, if you'd like to nominate a game you've been on the fence about maybe it'd be good to state so within the next few hours; otherwise prepare for the most abbreviated GOTW poll ever.
There was a 6-way for third place once. Of course, they all got included, but still. Duet Game isn't one of the 6, is it? Anyone to nominate it gets a virtual cookie!
If it's a six-way tie, wouldn't that just be one over the usual 10 max? Didn't know if there could be an exception if it was just one more.
The 10 games limit is thanks to the forums, not rules. There's just no way to include more than 10 items in a poll so, to keep things fair, they would have to be excluded unless someone adds nominations. There will still be a 5-way tie for 6th place though, and so on.
