The two sloths at RareSloth are honored to have Furdemption considered for TouchArcade's Game of the Week! Thank you to everyone supporting us and thank you TouchArcade and sloths for existing. :] Cheers, Brian from RareSloth
My vote went to Dragon Quest VI, I can never have enough classic RPG's but I could use more time to enjoy them all.
Man, I'm surprised Piloteer isn't getting more votes. I'll admit I didn't play the "big" releases this week (Her Story, Door Kickers, DQ VI), but somebody else has to have enjoyed Piloteer as much as I have been! =)
calling shenanigans on the lot of new users that voted on Abduction of Bacon at Dawn... tsk tsk. I count 11 (so far) new forum users made today that voted for Abduction of Bacon at Dawn
Abduction of Bacon, this game has made me laugh a lot, we must give our support to the developers of this game if we want them to continue to make games like this, full of originality
There's surely something fishy about that. 11 new users aren't likely all going to know about that game. Let alone how to vote GOW on it. It's a great game no less. But that Dev didn't even send out PM's to let users know (like myself who commented on the game in the forums) it was being selected. Maybe I'm wrong. But that's what moderators are for.
Relax everyone, the great and mighty keeper of the GotW thread(Undeadcow), always takes these factors into consideration before announcing placing. This isn't the first week for it and it won't be the last.
Embarassing how many fake votes are for that game. Why do people do that ? Just ridiculous and makes the game look bad
The developer of the bacon game sent out one tweet about voting for their game and linking to this thread. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. That tweet was retweeted 7 times which likely led to the surge in votes for the game by a bunch of people registering accounts to vote for it. So the votes shouldn't count but I don't think anything shady was done.
Looking at the rules it was never going to work. It's for ta members with some activity. If every dev tweeted out and asked people to vote it'll make a mockery of the whole thing The devs voted for his own game as has some of the employees ! It's just a weekly competition for a bit of fun for people who post here Hopefully furdemption will be announced the winner soon
Hi everyone, this is Flavio from Batovi Games Studio, sorry we generated some distress in this forum! As noted above, we did invited our followers to vote for Brave Rooster, and we also sent some DM inviting forum members (that liked the game) to consider voting for Brave Rooster. Our mistake was not to include the rules of the poll along with the invitation to vote. My fault! And some of our enthusiasts probably voted without complying with all the rules (e.g. having an active user). Cheers, Flavio
