I spend a fortune on apps and take a few gambles but not too keen on either. Might give toast time a chance at some point
I nominate Toast Time. I saw a lot of comparisons to Super Crate Box, but it's very different to me because it doesn't have virtual controls and it's not endless. I do see the similarities of course (the crates with the random weapons) and I love both.
Ditto, but I think Threes! is ahead for me. I love Toast Time, and actually, all five of the games I nominated were good (Avoid, Platforms Unlimited and Toad Rider being the others with Only One deserving to be in there as well). But, even though it may look like I'm just following the sheep since Threes! has hit the jackpot on the AppStore, it truly is a fantastic game and the one I've spent the most time with. Any way you look at it, I think this may have been the best overall week in terms of the number of quality releases so far this year!
Only One seems more in line with GOTW (unique, eye catching, etc) for me. Threes is a juggernaut. Thought Toad Time didn't hit the nostalgia button as hard as I wanted it to.

I voted for Final Fantasy VI; call me sentimental but I still think it holds it's own as a beast of a RPG with more content than many of the other nominees and a classic if ever there was one. I feel guilty I can't vote for Only One too.
This week was fantastic with 2 goty candidates. Threes! is great although I'm pretty bad with a score of 3.100 but I'm coming back again and again, maybe I get a better score some time. It would be my gotw in almost every other week of the year but this time my vote goes to Platforms Unlimited. Can't remember the last time I had so much fun with a game.
Have every game on the list except FF6 and Cloudbreakers. And there isn't a bad ga!e in the bunch. But have to stick with Threes! having played it the most.
At the start if the week I was so sure toast time and threes were gonna be the two i couldn't decide between but then I played only one today. I've been flipping between only one and threes all day, both are very addictive but two totally different style games so it makes it difficult to compare them and decide which to vote for.
@undeadcow - Toast Time, not Toaster Same. It's going to be a big three-way debate between Toast Time, Only One, and now Threes!, which I finally got today and is awesome Shame that I was the only nominee for Bike Mayhem, I'm really enjoying it and it's well worth the $0.99
