The winners of last week's Game of the Week poll are in... First Place: Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath (12 votes) Second Place: Dwelp (10 votes) Third Place: Battlelore Command (3 votes) Last week's GOTW thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=249241 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. Releases active before Saturday are eligible (even if they aren't listed in this original post), weekend releases can be nominated the following poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week. Please note: 1) Developers, publishing partners, or affiliates cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote for it. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members with some activity. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong. 3) Suspect votes may be void. 4) Game updates, no matter how significant are not eligible for GOTW. There are enough new games to nominate that haven't been considered before. Notice of this poll may be given in the threads of all nominated games. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New" tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ Bean Dreams Thread Big Head Gunner Thread Braveland Wizard Thread Dragon's Quest III Thread Dustoff Vietnam Thread Fist of Jesus Thread Game of Thrones – A Telltale Games Series Thread Roller Polar Thread Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director's Cut Thread Shelterra the Skyworld Thread Star Nomad Elite Thread Storm Rush Thread Templar Infinite Crusade Thread Tomb Raider II Thread Treasure Run! Syberia was re-released as a complete single app saga instead of as separate apps for the first and second installment; anyone want make an argument it should be eligible?
Havent bought any of the bigshots yet (Shadowrun Dragonfall and Dragon Quest 3), so my noms right now are: Bean Dreams Fist of Jesus (admittedly has workable but janky controls (in conjunction with the hitbox), but the game is pretty fun and the controls issue doesnt deter it from that)
I think it's worth noting that BattleLore Command took third place last week since Trouble With Robots only really received two votes since the third vote came from the games developer ArtCastle.
My nominations are: Roller Polar Bean Dreams Roller Polar is just a fun little endless high score chaser by Nitrome. The premise makes me smile, as does the wintry theme. Bean Dreams is another quality game by Kumobius. Despite being a little on the easy side compared to it's predecessor it remains a fun auto-jumping platformer, with the lovely art and music that are becoming staples from the Aussie-based developers. Highly recommended.
Bean Dreams Braveland Wizard Crossbow Warrior - The Legend of William Tell Dustoff Vietnan Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut I also bought Big Head Gunner and Star Nomad Elite, but I liked the above titles a little more.
