Implosion Trigonarium Devious Dungeon 2 Magic Shot (due to control and physics) Didn't take time for Rogue Star, Rototo and Dragon Hills, yet. Edit: deleted a nomination being only in Beta, oops.
Just Test Chamber for me. Still planning to check out Trigonarium and I've just downloaded Upthing to take a look, so my vote could easily change. Edit: I'll add Cubic! If it's not too late to nominate.
My Pick Of The Week From 10th and 16th of April 2015 Hi there guys, Here's the games of 10th and 16th of April that I thought were stand out winners and one that was almost amazing!! Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel 1). Implosion - Never Lose Hope By Rayark Inc. 2). Dragon Hills By Cezary Rajkowski 3). Rogue Star By RedBreast Studio Enjoy
Really enjoyed your video review, imcookie! Going to subscribe to your channel right after I post this. Great tribute to Implosion, really nailed the review on that one. Also, so true about Dragon Hills; it really has a way of eating up hours of your time. Love your sense of humor and appreciate you putting in the time to make that video, keep it up! I picked up Dragon Hills a little late this week but quickly fell in love with it. So I've added it to my list of nominations this week. There have been some really great games coming out this year!
A brilliant week for games... Devious Dungeon 2 Fairy Fire Implosion Never Lose Hope Rogue Star Climax (I know strange name ! But its a great warioware style game for 'films')
Thanks a lot much appreciated of course. I have a long term plan to keep making videos for your enjoyment. At first I tried all sorts of different genres within the gaming world but I eventually settled on the EXPLODING iOS market. I think it's because it's a really interesting and exciting thing to be involved in, even in a small fringe capacity such as mine. The only way is up from here as far as I'm concerned and I'm glad to have you on board.
Upthing was released on April 13th (at least in US) so is not eligible until this week's poll, upcoming. It didn't automatically receive enough votes to make the poll this week anyway but seems like it's time is yet to come.
Here are the outcomes of nominations: Implosion – Never Lose Hope 10 Dragon Hills 9 Devious Dungeons 6 Rogue Star 6 Tiltagon 4 Trigonarium 4 Test Chamber 3 Donsol 2 Magic Shot 2 Platie 2 -----------------------Poll Cut-off----------------------- Upthing 2 [eligible next week] Climax Fairy Fire Cubic Rototo
Thanks as usual, undeadcow. I'm thrilled that Trigonarium made it through. This has been brutally overlooked. That said, it's gonna be a tough choice between Implosion and Trigonarium.
C'mon AKD! You know what to do. Don't overlook...search your feelings Luke. Errr, I voted for Trigonarium and I haven't even played it! ios8...Doesn't matter though because I know I would love it. Oh Future, when will I play Trigonarium?
Voted for Dragon Hills... Every time Rebel Twins releases a game, it turns into my 'go-to' game for the next couple weeks. I've only gotten to the second segment of levels in Devious Dungeon 2 and don't even have the space ATM to throw Implosion on my phone... so while it may seem kinda unfair to not give all the games I've got from the list a fair shake, I think when one of those games is completely overtaking your gaming life, making you put every other game on hold, it's safe to say it's GOTY worthy... Oh yeah, and thank you undeadcow!!! You rock! =oD
Voted for Dragon Hills over Implosion. Why? Implosion is a game that will stay on my devices for a looong time. I already have it listed on my 2015 list of possible GOTY titles. I have played it extensively since i got it. I skipped on a few invites of League of Legends games coz of it. It's that good. Then i tried out Dragon Hills. Sure the scope of the game is smaller than Implosion, but for the next 2 days, i was never able to put my hands on Implosion coz i needed to play Dragon Hills. It was the purest form of addiction. Made me forget that i was actually on the final stage of a GOTY-worthy title. Dragon Hills did that. If a runner game can do that, it sure as hell is going to be my pick for the week.
As a game that is going down as one of my top 5 iOS games ever, I'm voting for Implosion. I need to see more of that.
Only my personel view...a thankfully very poor release week (so far) and due to a sfx-bug in Drylands, i finally found some time to trigger Dragon Hills. If that's even possible, Rebel Twins are getting higher in my books now. Beautiful and addicting game, again. But my vote goes clearly to Implosion. As i wrote in the thread "could this be the AAA hack'n'slash i was waiting for?" YES, IT IS!
