See above, though. There are some issues when a device gets low on space. It wipes save data and crashes. Someone above suggested it could be due to the game save being wiped from the cache?
I have a 6S but I only tested it a little on there. It worked fine once I made sure I had a couple of extra Gb of space. But I didn't play through the whole game on there. You can also try the free one first to see if you have any issues.
I've sworn off point and clicks, as I've got so many I've yet to complete (not sure I ever even finished the original Monkey Island...maybe?), but this seething hellscape has got me hooked. Also the fact that it plays more like The Room than some adventure games is a plus, as that means the puzzles are usually a bit more logical. Can't wait to see the next creature wrenched from this artist's sick id.

This game is amazing, I played twice for both endings. The puzzles are interesting but not so mind boggling it takes away anything. They were very Professor Layton-esque. The artwork is wonderful. Soundtrack too. One of my favourite game experiences I've had.
