@da shiz: I'd edit that post if I were you. Cause you just supported my cause and worsened yours @csk: Ha, I look forward to them XD
Sorry, but Minigore is still a decent dual stick shooter. A survival shooter, but if you ignore the promises they broke. It's actually a great game. Grokion has decent controls that just take getting used to. Angry Birds is great, you must just really suck at it.
I'm not in love with Phoenix Wright. On WiiWare it's shit. Just love "Miles Edgeworth: Investigation" - much more content and many locations..
Here are my Top 4 Underrated: Shape Escape - Nice puzzler, albeit not the prettiest. Good pick up and play value though Pathpix Pro - This just uses to relax me more than any other game Tilestorm - Fiendish sliding tile puzzle, hasn“t got the attention it deserves PushPixPull - Sokoban/Sudoku Mashup with HARD puzzles, which got surprisingly low media echo
Why start a thread so controversial and say 'don't correct me if I'm wrong'?! Anyway, snail mail isn't under rated. I always see topics posted about it.
I'm pretty sure Snail Mail can be considered underrated. I've seen it only once (on AppShopper) and this was the first post I've seen it mentioned. Anyways, I might try it out!
I was only referring to the fact that there may be other sites besides STP that have praised PathPix Pro, but I have not seen any. I just didn't want a ton of people to reply saying "What are you talking about? reviewmyappordie.com gave PathPix LOADS of praise!" And Snail Mail still hasn't gotten the attention it deserves. It was the second game I ever bought for my iPod, and remains on my 4th page to this day. Alright, I admit that I made Minigore sound worse than it is. But the thing is, they promised so much and delivered so little that you can't help but be stunned at the praise that it's getting when there are so many more dual-stick shooters (Meteor Blitz, Isotope, iDracula, Alive 4-Ever) that are waaaaaaaaaaay better. Now, for Grokion, the controls may be halfway decent, but the ridiculous difficulty of some levels requires pinpoint precision, and the controls just don't allow for that. As for Angry Birds, it's actually a pretty good physics game. Until you reach a certain point where the levels are so dependent on luck that they take dozens of tries doing the same thing over and over until it finally works. Yes, I do suck at the game, but anything that creates this sort of trial-and-error frustration does not equal "great" in my book.
lmao, guys, these are people's opinions. it doesn't have to be "controversial." I'm terribly sorry that their top 5 lists aren't EXACTLY what you would've chosen. stop being childish and accept their opinions.
