I'm working on a project, and would love some insight from you guys. In-game maps have always been a interest of mine, and I bet there's some great ones out there I've missed. Currently I'm enjoying, in no particular order: 1. Moshi Monsters - fun & bright colored kid-style, little animation details. 2. Haypi Dragons - 2D layers, nice overview world map VS. detailed location maps. 3. Fieldrunners 2 - gorgeous world map, almost painterly, reminiscent of the Worms series. 4. MonsterUp Adventures - simple, somewhat abstract 2D style put to good effect in a vertical screen orientation. 5. Super Mario World - a classic that still holds up today. Close-up locations, secrets and unlockable areas. What are some of your favorite in-game world maps, past or present? Thanks all!
