I have issues with iControlPad. Its on the latest test firmware from forum. Holster / Jump buttons (A and Y) are mixed. Button to reverse your facing (B) opens menu in ≈1/3 clicks. If I try to remap controls it either shows me no bindings at all or hangs or crashes the game. I could bear with A and Y being in a wrong place but B opening menu renders the game unplayable.
Controls are rough on screen that's for sure. Almost like it's really slow. The GUI is stuttery and laggy. I wonder why that is? I have an iphone 5s. Cleared all running programs and did a reboot. Still slow ass menus lol. Gameplay is fine. Just the controls just suck on screen. Hard to get her to turn properly. I think ill order a controller. So I read some of the thread and am getting mixed signals on which one to get! What's the best one guys? Money is of no consequence! I just want the best controller to for my 5s into lol. Thanks much
I find it hilarious that this is Tomb Raider and none of the screens on the AppStore contain a boobshot.
Yes! Playing with a keyboard would be perfect! The way I did about 100 years ago. the touch screen controls are not suited for the clunkiness of this game.
In all my years as a gamer I've never played tomb raider one. Amazing! Insta buy! Ok, UPDATE: this game is pretty awful. Looks cool but the controls make the game nearly unplayable. I want to enjoy my gaming experience, not got frustrated with touchy, non responsive controls. I'd like to see the developer step up and completely revamp these controls but that probably is wishful thinking.
There's no sound now. It was fine when I first downloaded it but nothing now. I deleted it, reinstalled, reset my device but still nothing. Not sure what happened. Edit: it's not just this game, it's all of them. Found the solution after a quick search.
It really is! I can't get over it. I love these retro game ports over to ios but they didn't need to port over the horrible controls as well. This game is tedious at best on iPad, unplayable (or at least unenjoyable!) on iPhone
Downloaded this on launch; I entered the cave, Closed the app. App is now dormant on my iPhone screen. Waiting for update to touch controls.
Hmm I thought the controls were ok, I remember it being an ass to control on ps1 to start with so I'm quite impressed that it's playable at all on iOS. Also works great on icade which is how I'm playing. (But I did try the touch controls setup too(
I did the exact same thing. Made it past the arrows after about five minutes of frustration and said, "Well I've had about enough of this shit."
Realy i had no problem with the controls at all as far as i can see they are very close to how it was on. The ps1
