Best and most fun game in quite sometime. Bought that coin pack as well. Got my freeze one upgrade away from max.
Is it me or did things in the game change today? First, I can watch video ads left and right now. I watched so many ads that the ad network ran out of ads. I can't watch anything Lol! I've upgraded all of my power ups nicely. Second, when you die there's no longer an X to quit. It actually says give up on a button. I don't see any updates on the AppStore. Am I going crazy? Also that was nice of you guys to buy those coin packs. I plan to purchase the coin X2 when they add it. I hope they update it soon. Billy
Im pretty sure I remember the quit button saying "give up". I remember that it struck me as a funny way to put it. Give up loser, you're no good at this. Lol
It has changed mate, you are spot on. The 'x' is gone and replaced with give up which is easier to reach imo. Good call.
But there was an X button. It's no longer there. And the ads definitely changed. If you go to the beginning screen and tap tap to play you can view an ad. Then do it again and again immediately. I couldn't do that before. And lol give up loser. That's funny. Billy
This is what I see in game. It's all the same as it was for me. 1. Title screen 2. Main screen 3. After dying 4. Return to main screen after dying
I can vouch for the little X in the corner being changed. It's definitely different, and I didn't know they could make that kind of change without issuing an update. I'd be curious to know how. Also now I'm noticing pop-up ads, at least sort of. A little icon for Into the Dim dropped down from the upper left corner during my game over screen, and then whisked away after a few seconds. I actually haven't bought the no ads IAP yet, so I'm wondering if those are the pop-up ads it disables or if that sort of cross-promotion of your existing catalogue will be there whether you purchase a no ad IAP or not.
I'll admit there could have been an X on the 3rd screen I posted, but the give up button has been there from the beginning for me. I also got the little add for Into The Dime. Which was new for me, so some changes have been made.
I bought the no pop up IAP, and I am not seeing a drop down for Into the Dim or anything else. The "Give Up" button is absolutely new, but I'm not seeing anything else different.
The no pop up ad IAP isn't for ' The 'Into the Dim' pop up, it's for the ads that were suppose to pop up but they didn't activate that tunction (yet). That IAP is more a thank you to the devs

I just watched one ad for coins then wasn't given the option to watch another. Maybe watching unlimited ads is something they added for the people that bought the remove ads. I haven't purchased that yet. Also, I watched some videos of the game posted 3 days ago that did NOT have the give up button, indicating it is indeed new. I swear I remember it being there but the video doesn't support that so... Maybe it was in another game I've played recently or I'm loosing my mind# Edit: I just checked and Greedy Cave has a "give up" button when you die, along with the option to use crystals to revive. I knew I'd seen it somewhere. #
I believe the video ad services have a limit on how many ads they can serve in a 24 hour period, so it could be that you just ran out of ads to watch.
I purchased no ads at prerelease and I've never seen any drop downs. It lets me choose to watch a different ad after every consecutive run. Still wondering how they changed the give up option. Wonder if anything else changed, I haven't noticed anything. I rlly wish the bullet shooters were a different color tho.
Height Limit? I was playing the game and had a fairly high score then I hit a point where there was no path to continue going up. Was this purposefully implemented or a bug?
Sorry, I was just referring to LordShad0ws statement about being able to watch multiple ads back to back and making a comparison to my experience.
Haha, that's what I call a dead end! But you're right this could be kind of a bug, haven't seen anything like this in the past two weeks playing this game.
Not sure about that bc when I was drinking my latte at Starbucks I was starting games and dying purposely to watch vids and amass upgrade coins. I must have done this for almost an hour continuously.
Bro you no longer need to do that. All you have to do is play once and die. Then give up. Then go watch a video. When it's done tap the button to go to the main menu. Then immediately tap tap to play. Watch another video. Go back to the main menu. And so on and so on. There's no need to actually play and die after that first time. You now can watch all the videos until the ad service runs out. Lol. That's what I did. There's no more 3 minute timer. Billy
Yep, thanx. I realized that when I read in one of your earlier posts. I just haven't binged on ads since when I mentioned. How many 'til it runs out bc I watched a ton of them and never reached the limit.
