Well there's 4 games that will use UE3. I think it's likely that MC3 and Nova 3 will be two of the four.
honestly, this game is probably going to be amazing better than mc2 but ur rite, its the graphics that have me kinda worried
That 'Dam' level image on the main news page reminds me of an old unreal tournament map I used to play on, forgot what it was called
Most certainly. Modern Combat and NOVA are the two gameloft games that give them the most revenue. I'm sure they will use UE3. I also believe one of the four will be a completley new game that will incorporate a tactical espionage fighting style. I cannot be sure of that, but judging from the games Gameloft has released over the years, looking at Splinter Cell Conviction, then to Shadow Guardian, which both run in the direction for tactical espionage an UE3 version of a completely new game will sure to be released. Of course, just my analysis.
I'm guessing Gameloft make A LOT with Modern Combat, so if they use the Unreal Engine in the third instalment, a huge slice will go to Epic. That wouldn't be nice. Let's see.
Any word on if this is going to be IAP or is Gameloft done with that for now? Also on the UE3, I have to imagine Gameloft owes Epic a big licensing fee without even looking at whatever Epic's cut is for revenue. If that's the case, it makes sense to use it with a big title that is going to sell.
