sapphire_neo already covered that. You have nothing to worry about. Also, this has been on the Amazon App Store for a while now and nothing has changed.
Very fun game and premium too. Can't believe I didn't know about this game on Amazon but damn this is fun and it feels like it was made for my iPhone 6. Don't mistake this for another throw away title, this deserves a spot on your favorites page. Easily worth your two dollars.
This is a quality game, just like the previous 2. Achievement wh*res will be happy to know there are 1000 points. The gameplay and production values are excellent and as others mentioned, there are twists in the gameplay.
Loved the first game... but when I bought it way back then, the publishers updated the game like a week after I bought it and made it free and loaded it with ads so by the time I installed it, the whole thing had changed. I hope this new one stays premium, I see it's published by Amazon though which is a good sign, I've bought all their games so far and every single one has been a lot of fun, worth every penny
The mere fact that you can play the game as a piece of tofu decked out in black metal corpse paint, with satanic goat horns and lightning shooting out of his backside allows me to give this my eternal seal of approval and an automatic 5 stars.
*3* for iPhone 6 mention *2* for achievement wh*res & 1000 pts. *1* for metalcasket's unrelenting enthusiasm and one-of-a-kind sense of humor SOLD!!!
If I remember correctly, the original games had you pulling back to aim and launch the tofu. Now, you need to swipe forward towards the target. Does this not obstruct anyone else's view? I don't like it at all...
Pulling back on the tofu now has an Angry Bird flinging mechanic. The change in perspective when you "push" forward on Tofu makes sure nothing's obstructed.
It's that good? Tempted by it but never played any like it I think Edit: Going to buy it after watching some of the video and reading comments, besides its the weekend and I like flicking between games. Although the direction aiming forward seems weird...pulling back like angry birds seems better but I haven't tried yet.
Done quite a few levels now and I really like the graphics and extra little touches in the background and cosmetic options also and all with very easily not needing IAP. I enjoy the level based format as it lets me play a few here and there whenever I fancy, although I'm guessing some levels are meant to be replayed for some finishing badges? Although I often do that on beans dreams so guessing it's normal here too as it must be impossible sometimes to do in one. I actually really like the controls and they aren't bad at all which is something I worried about. Especially liking all of the puzzles and mechanics I've met so far as it gives a nice variety and makes the game much more than some basic puzzlers that's the same thing over and over. My only tiny gripes are with the controls as sometimes it can be a little fiddly trying to do one thing but end up doing another but that's likely just me. Also sometimes the view stretches pretty far for long shots but can pull back the view sometimes when it looks like it should reach further still. The last one is that the game isn't always full screen for me on my iPad. A few other things but no Dev here so not worth a mention, all in all I'm very happy with my purchase and happy I took a chance.
Oh man, I hate to admit this...but thanks to To-Fu Fury, I've pretty much not touched anything else this week. Yes, I'm not pruning my trees, I'm not chasing after blue ghosts and I'm not...well, whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing in The Long Seige. There's just something so immensely satisfying about wasting an entire battery charge and over 100 attempts to try and beat the first boss without losing any Chi. Between the tons of levels, replayability in order to achieve all medals in each stage, boss battles, Game Center-friendly competitive levels with your friends, unlockable costumes and just the ridiculous fun the game is, I think I have no problem agreeing with Qwertz in saying this is Game of the Year material. Now, before Quazonk gets his panties in a bunch, I'd like to say that despite all of the above, I don't feel that To-Fu's a 5 star game, but I couldn't give a rat's ass. Love this game to bits and pieces.
I can agree with you there....beating the chefinator without getting hit is so damn hard : ( I hate moving on before I get every badge for a mission too.
This is not correct. The original games also had a pull TOWARDS the target, rather than pull BACK on To-Fu. I've just been playing To-Fu 2 a moment ago and the methods are the same. But you are correct in thinking that something is different in the way it works... There's just something about the view area in this To-Fu Fury that's different which ends up meaning that the area you have to work with is much more limited. In To-Fu 1 and 2, you could actually end up pulling your finger PAST the target, so that your finger wouldn't obscure your view. In To-Fu Fury, for the most part you can only pull up to the point of the target and no further, meaning your finger is sitting directly on top of what you are trying to look at and so you can't see it with your finger blocking it. If you do try and pull your finger PAST the target, you usually end up sliding your finger off your phone screen entirely and the action then gets cancelled and the To-Fu character pings back to his starting point. It is indeed very frustrating, and I am hoping that they can fix this in an update. Although I'm not sure how much hope I should be holding out, seeing as the game has already been out on other devices for a long while before it came to iOS...
