To be fair i didnt purchase it a third time. My youngest child accidentally purchased it so Apple is refunding me for the accidental purchase of Titan Quest of which i've paid twice previously for it. If you arent happy about the whole fiasco then tweet them or contact them. Not saying we'll all get some sort of promo code but they need to know they're taking the biscuit here. Not on

Can i check then, can i somehow use my save files from Titan Quest Mk II to use in Titan Quest Mk III ? I presume i cant as they're different apps Frustrating as i got quite far in the game. At least you got a reply

From an organizational perspective, it makes sense. HandyGames has it’s own budget and revenue expectations. They put the time to fix the save bug and now they have to recoup their investment. Not saying it’s fair — it’s not, at all. But I can see the management reasoning behind it. I imagine that they will eventually add iPhone X support, but my guess is that anything else is unlikely. Looks like they would have to subcontract the original dev team and I don’t see that happening.
I know they cant easily just give out promo codes to all the users who bought it from them. But if they had re-released it and put 'our new studio can update this far better, for a week only the price is 1.99' i could 'handle' buying that again. Just the fact its full price on this other studio 9 months later is just ridiculous
OK my support email reply was interesting Thanks for your feedback and sorry for that trouble! HandyGames is now the Publisher for mobile Games within the THQ Nordic Family. We had to reupload the game for technical reasons as cloud save didn't allow to transfer the title to our account. In the process we fixed the save game problem coming with cloud save and also the achievements are working now. We understand the frustration of that situation but you also should be able to download the old version via your "account purchases" so there is actually no need to buy the new version. But we will try to add iPhoneX support and fixes in the future if anything comes up. Thank you for your understanding! Also: If you send us a copy of your receipt of a former purchase of the game we are willing to give you a code for the new version for free. Thank you!
Good for them. Still, it’s clear that the new version will be the one to be updated in the future, so it’s worth it to go through the effort to get a code.
If you try to use their support form on their site there seems to be no way to add an attachment. I sent them an email directly with the purchase receipt. Hopefully they will reply. Their direct email: [email protected] EDIT: I received my code today.
So I sent an email with my receipt of former purchase, it worked and I got the new code, I also suggested them to issue a statement about the situation.
Same here. Just got my promo code after showing my earlier purchases. Worth contacting them as they mentioned in my email they’ll give codes out while they still can (so might have a limit) Frustrating I’ve lost my progress. If they do updates which Nordic never did things will be much better.
Just got mine too. Now keeping my fingers crossed for the expansion (a long shot but I’m optimistic).
