Reach the God Level 65! Well first, you have to go to giza and look for the great sphinx tomb. Once you're in there, you'll find a chamber where 4 huge constructs await you. Defeat ONLY three of these constructs and leave the LAST ONE along with its respective DEVICE. Once you do, you'll notice that everytime you hit the undead beside that device, it respawns almost instantly. From that point onwards hit that undead over and over again and you'll be racking up xp in no time. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO HIT THE DEVICE THOUGH AS THAT WILL END THE RESPAWNING OF THE UNDEAD. Hence, you have to exit and start the game in giza to continue farming for experience. Notes: 1. This is something I have proven to work with my conqueror character. 2. You need to have at least one item in your character (e.g. A ring) that has 70% damage against demons and undead buff to easily achieve the "one hit kill" for the undead which you will repeat over and over again to rack up experience. 3. Go to the mystic in some waypoints in the game to remove the pulverize skill (under defense mastery) to avoid unneccesarily hitting the device which will automatically end your experience farming. If you have any questions, just lemme know.
I don't really mind the lack of shared stash. While it would be nice, legendary drops frequently once you get above level 50 in my experience. In fact, compared to farming revenant gear, legendaries are a breeze The controls are decent but since you only have one primary attack button you can map a skill to you will have to trigger all other skills manually. Also, for targeted skills you have to tap and hold the skill button and then drag to your target. Tapping and holding slows down time so it's actually surprisingly doable though it took me a while to get really used to it As for pets, my wolves feel squishy early legendary but not impossible keep up except with really tough pulls or bosses. I haven't tried any other pets further than normal My conqueror kicks ass in legendary All in all, it's a great game but as expected there are compromises because of the touch screen
I have a juggernaut and how I did it was I ran up one side and got the attention of the 4 mummies then I ran back towards the entrance and stood behind the pillar on that side since they cannot see you they come to you. Kill all four and they responded and since they already targeted you they will automatically come back to the pillar. You don't even need to fight the constructs to get the xp, until you want to leave that is. But you could just warp out if you wanted.
Dude it's hours and hours of fun. Even if you only play through normal. Plus all the character combos make a lot of replay ability
legendary and beyond just beat legendary with level 48 conqueror. For any conquerors, I suggest clearing normal and epic with no farming. Once you beat epic, farm epic typhoon until you have good items. I killed him about 200 times and each run took around a minute. Just use colossus form and run through all the enemies. Exit and go to legendary to dump your bag so you get more gold. Eventually I just turned off yellows. I got 3/4 warrior blue set and probably 120 - 150 legendaries. The bracers are the best from that set imo. Make sure pierce resist is decent if not maxed because in legendary archers are the most deadly for you. I had 6k health, 1.5k dps, 1000 offensive and 1000 def ability, fairly high elemental resist on average. I didnt use shield charge or any skills other than war horn, collosus, battle standard, and the armor self buff (blue shield icon). I didnt use triumph, defiance, the anicents, or doom horn. Now I am farming legendary typhoon like I did on epic but not sure if there is anything other than side bosses to beat. Anyone else doing side bosses? Who is the toughest? Also anyone else notice the Pagos model doesnt exist in game? For me it is a blue and yellow checkerboard pattern lol.
Stuck at Knossos Landing at the end of act one. Can't talk to the captain to board the boat? Is my only option is to restart my game?
Well, there's the guy who tells you you can go to the next zone, then there's the guy further along at the docks who actually takes you. Are you sure you're talking to the right guy?
Heads up. The Anniversary Edition of Titan Quest just launched on Steam. Those who have the original version on Steam get the Anniversary Edition for free. But for those who don't, they are having a 75% off launch sale. So you are getting it for practically nothing, a measly $5. And the game is not demanding at all; it will run on a toaster. And before you ask, yes, unlike the iOS version, the Anniversary Edition does include Immortal Throne.
Pacifist challenge - reach gorgon cave with 0 kills & 0 deaths I tried a pacifist challenge this afternoon, just to see if I could get as far as the gorgon boss blockade (Pythian caves) on 0 kills and 0 deaths. This challenge turned out a little bit more interesting than I expected. It's possible to get your character to level 3 without killing anything, just by completing quests that only involve talking to characters and reporting back to other ones, or merely arriving at particular places. No spoilers, but if you have got as far as Delphi you will probably have already seen the quests I'm talking about. I acquired all my gear from chests, and by picking up everything left after NPC fights, for example the big brawl that is always going on just outside the Spartan war camp (second portal location). I even got an epic piece of torso armour but it was level 9 and INT/DEX requirement so only good for selling. That was from a random satyr near Spartan war camp. I selected defence mastery to get the skill that reduces the strength requirement for armour, suited up with the best gear I could afford, and pretty much just ran from one rebirth point to the next. Hardest parts were Parnassus caves (life stealer demons and webby spiders = not good for a level 3 character) and anything involving centaur marauders. That's the initial challenge - reach the pythian caves (gorgon boss fight area not far after Parnassus portal) with 0 kills and 0 deaths. However else you choose to get there is up to you. I did it with copious amounts of chest farming and NPC battle drop looting, took me an hour and 40 minutes to reach entry to pythian caves on 0 kills & 0 deaths. Harder versions of this challenge would be to get there at level 2 or level 1. I suspect level 1 with 0 deaths would be highly unlikely as you would be unable to wear anything but the weakest armour, meaning plenty of things could one-shot you. One very useful trick (for any character, not just the pacifist challenge) is to run to Megara at level 1 to get the second inventory page very early, then go back to the start of the game and play 'normally'.
Picked up the anniversary edition after a couple of rough deaths. Just so hard to play this game with all the lock ups and poor control. Can only die to bad UI, controls, and total lockups so many times in a row before you hunger for a keyboard and mouse. Anniversary edition is baller btw. Mods are limited atm, but the core game is solid and there's speed settings so you can get shit done.
Might be a device issue, or maybe that the fixed control stick takes some getting used to. I'm not exactly a 1337 gamer but I got a Conqueror (Warfare/Defence) all the way through normal and half way through epic Orient without dying. Average gear, not really much over-levelling in each area. The first death in epic Orient was 100% valid, a couple of Neanderthal trappers who just took my health completely down in a few hits. I never found out what weapons they were using because I quit in a bit of a strop as I was happy with my 0 death streak up to that point! Can't say I've encountered many death situations at all, across a handful of different characters, that I could totally blame on the controls or game performance.
It's a skills/class thing, possibly linked to the speed of your attack. Might be a combo of presses I'm doing too. My eruption skill hard-locks my character approx 33% of the time. Which means I can't do AMYTHING until I either go to the menu or press the little ability swap button in the bottom right. That's the only thing that lets me move or use abilities again. As for general controls, I struggle to hit the right buttons at the right times. I'm often trying to hit my "ohcrap" skill and can't click it in time. Same with moving... I'm often moving where I don't want to or picking up loot when i should be attacking. It's just a lot of extra frustrations when I could be playing stress-free on my PC.
