Hello. I have trouble to use shield charge. When i press the button on the wheel nothing happens unless i'm at very close range which defeats the purpose. Does anybody have a solution to this?
It's because you need a target for the shield charge You can press the skill button and drag to the target. This will slow down the in game time and once you release the button over your target time will return to normal and you will charge
On epic at level 50 and plus The labyrinth, and the dungeon with the portal to the garden is good for farming
i got in from a random ratman in a cave in act 3 legendary, the map with a lot of netherthane and with 3 caves filled with ratman and today while farming for vitality resistance gear (I got r@ped by the telkine in act3 legendary), a random nemad dropped me a boar's skewer (2nd best spear ingame) Edit: i finally beat the Telkine by maxing my vitality and cold resistance and a lot of running around until my Colossus form can be activated lol Drops: Necklace of Harmonia (purple), Aphodite's Favor (purple), Hephaestus's Molten shield (purple)
Still playing this a lot on iPad Pro, while my son is playing on an iPad Air (1st Air) - he has a lot more game crashes than I do but it seems to autosave very frequently as he doesn't lose items he picked up just before the crashes - but maybe he is just lucky on the occasions I have checked. The earliest legendary (purple) item I have had (on iOS anyway) was in epic Greece from a chest guarded by Talos just before the labyrinth, when my character was level 43. Of course, it wasn't an item I could equip or use - Sword of Damocles. DotEmu need to crowd fund a shared storage add-on for TQ, even if they're not going to add the whole of Immortal Throne. I've had loads of great melee/strength items drop for my pure magic Druid which, of course, are only useful for selling. Working on achievements now - only 'complete legendary' and 'reach level 65' left to do...
I'm just getting into this now. It's fantastic, but I do wish the virtual joystick was dynamic instead of fixed. I find my initial touch on the stick often sends me off in the wrong direction, requiring me to correct it. I'm overlooking this as the game is just so good and deserves a full play through, but I hope they can add this behaviour in a future patch. Most IOS ARPGs do this for ease of control.
So having one character in late act 3 epic and one in early act 3 legendary and having spent lots of time respeccing and trying all kinds of things, here are few potentially gamebreakinig bugs that new players should be aware of - I'm 99% sure pets don't get the boost in epic and legendary they're supposed to get. Wolves dies in 2 hits in late epic, same with the War banner in legendary. This means pet builds are not viable - Majestic chests disappear. Specifically the boss chests once you've farmed a boss a few times on legendary and since we don't have access to the game files like on pc there is no way to fix this. This was a known bug in the original TQ on pc too Sadly i suspect DotEmu has moved on from TQ so these are not likely to be fixed so keep it in mind when starting a new character It's still perfectly possible to complete the game on all difficulties and it's a fantastic game but these bugs hurts the overall experience in my opinion
I already have three out of the 4 tartarus set and I have just completed the four piece conqueror set. All by farming typhon at epic. I'm also Level 65 Conqueror. If anybody here wants to know a very easy way to level up his/her character "legally" let me know. I'd be happy to tell you.
Man I really wanna play a good Diablo/torchlight/TQ kinda game on mobile, but it's soooo hard to jump on this one without the benefits of PC (like shared stash, and save fixes to get around bugs) How's the difficulty, considering mobile controls? Are pet classes viable on mobile? (since I enjoy those and it'd probably help mitigate mobile control frustrations) I'm used to being able to deck my dudes out, so maybe it's worth playing on mobile for the different experience of not having ALL the gear.
