Legendary Typhon defeated! I'll go over any details of my game I feel are helpful or relevant. Anything else just ask. LVL53 Ranger, Marksmanship and wolves. Time in game 49hrs 30 min. Level cap is 65 but it's such slow going and I had been killing easily so I said screw it and rushed act 4. The game got hard right after Chang an when the dragon beast men and tigers and insects hit hard. I can take some punishment tho, I have no idea how melee plays this game. I skipped the last bunch of quests and decided lvl53 was where I would stay since dying dropped my bar too much. Really my gear is not great but I have tons of movement speed, range dodge and good armor from Alexander cuirass 244 armor chest legend. Despite killing stuff decently fast, 3-5 shots per mob (pierce for aoe), my dps is pitiful on the sheet. After buffs only around 1k if strength of the pack is up. I hear people from the pc game got like 15k+ or something absurd like that. Without huge modifiers I really have no clue how they do it. My dmg is all from piercing which is almost every shot, and study prey for bosses debuffs their defense hugely. I have something like +6 to all skills which is crazy good. I reccomend Ranger if you want to play an archer class but people say Brigand (rogue) is the best pairing for hunter, so that's prob great too. Me I think I prefer the defense that heart of oak and the pets give me from nature. I loved this game and it really is the best arpg Diablo-like you can play on iOS. I still think there is a hole in the genre for a great mmoarpg loot grinder. Multiplayer, random maps etc. who knows if we will ever get it. This game would be even more awesome with multiplayer obviously but oh well, it was still amazing.
Request for Cap Info Would someone be so kind as to point me towards a reasonably comprehensive compendium of assorted stat caps for the game? I found one in a web archive, but it was for "Imortal Throne" and the numbers didn't correlate to what I already know. Specifically, I'm looking for caps on stats that aren't displayed on the character stat screen. Like "% damage to bunnies."
I was farming Scorpio King probably 20 times and then decided to go to the orient and when I came back the majestic chests were gone, so just be aware. I haven't checked today to see if they're back.
They are still gone so it makes Scorpio King not worth it to farm. So farm I like the place of truth(where I got my legendary) and the valley of kings for farm/grinding. I can run Scorpio King and the second telling and get over half my level of XP in one run. The arrow guys in the orient are causing me issues. The rat Kings were extremely annoying.
True that. Just a while ago I picked up my first Legendary--Sword of Damocles from a skeleton wandering around Upper War Camp in Epic. Funny thing about this game is that you can spot a weapon being used by a monster and kill it and the same weapon will eventually drop.
What level is your guy? I wanted to farm for epics in Greece but I didn't think I would get one and now I think the XP from those guys is too low to feel worth it. I may go back once though. Also it seems easier to find legendarys from regular units and not bosses. At least on epic. Seems that way from what I've read and then I got mine from a sand demon, could've been an assassin one but could've been a regular guy too I was fighting probably 10 of them when my sword dropped.
Around Lv37 with my Conqueror. Well it sucks right now coz I tried syncing my iPad save to my 6s. All of a sudden all my progress was lost. Damn icloud sync in this game is absurd.
Has anyone managed to kill the hydra? I am cruising through legendary Act 1 pretty easily but the hydra is ridiculous. I am one or two hitting everything with my ranger but I cannot even put a dent in the hydra. If I try long range, his fire and poison breath one hit me even with 60%+ resistance. If I go in with a spear his bites knock me down faster then my potions can keep up. I wanted to farm the hydra a little bit but it seemed like it was not an option so I moved on. If anyone has any tips I would gladly take them even if I have to run a long way back to farm him some.
Hi in the first quest I killed the shoman and all the enemy fighters. However when I go back to the field the barbarians are back again! Why is this?
Yeah also I saved my game after killing the shoman and retrieved it again but then the shoman is alive still!
all monsters respawn in this game when the app relaunches, basically if you see the menu when you open the app then everything is back. It makes grinding easier, but you want to make sure you get to the next fountain before you leave the game if your wanting to progress, especially if its a hard boss fight.
Another "Un-Legendary" Epic Run I just finished my 5th run thru Epic (this time with a Brigand) and for the second time, I got zero Legendary drops. I went back the did Typhon 50-60 times, and eventually got a purple off of him. One I could really use, too. I don't mind confessing that I'm a wee little bit miffed about that. Truly - the game is all about gear and skills (not YOUR skills, young padawan - the mastery skills). When you get to around level 40, the levels (and subsequent SKILLS) are few and far between, and you're only playing to get the ah-ha rush from a new piece of gear. By contrast, I went through with a Conqueror and got 10+ purples.
