Can anyone tell me if it is worth the journey going back to Temerus (he is the blacksmith on the road to Delphi) occasionally to see what weapons are for sale? Certainly he had better than average things, but nothing rare or epic for sale. It is out the way, but I would make the journey if its worth the time. Just got through the Parsunnus Caves outside of Delphi - huge!!!
Just beat normal difficulty for the first time! Level 31 Spellbreaker, cant wait to get my first legendary!!!!!
Nah but you can farm him when you get to the nearby fountain a few times if you want. I'm not sure if his stuff is really any better than normal shop.
Yeah so far he's got nothing special to separate him from the rest. I think he's just a regular merchant, much like the Satyr merchant who doesn't say anything. The one near the portal
I didn't start getting purples until i farmed scorpos king and a bunch came from forest of the ancients in epic mode. Typhon dropped 1-2 almost every run. I'm now selling the off class ones to the shops. God, we need some more storage space!!!
So has it been confirmed pets didnt get the buffs they are supposed to get in epic and legendary difficulties? If not that is a deal breaker for anyone with pets.....
As someone who played the PC version playing as a ranger with wolves, the pets are sturdy tanks in epic, moreso in legendary. In the iOS version also playing as a ranger, i'm not yet sure since i'm only in A1 epic but yeah, the pets die almost every time but not really to be a build breaker so far since they are only for support and as tanks (2 wolves). I dunno if it's the same for classes who rely heavily on the pets for damage and survival
Well I use a Lich King and I was hoping he would be able to take at least a few more hits but he is going down quick right at the beginning of epic difficulty #
That sucks about pets I was wanting to play a pet centered character after my juggernaut. And I'm almost to scorpion King on epic and haven't seen a legendary yet. Also a good place to just grind some XP is the boss room of the Sphinx if you get the 4 flying mummies closest to the door to target you and then run behind a pillar so they have to come close to shoot the magic ball they respawn instantly and on epic I was getting 909 per guy and they drop quick. I grinded out the level I was on 320,000 xp in like 15-20 mins. They don't drop anything so I know that's a turn off but they're super easy for xp and after they target you you can just stay behind the pillar and they will come to you everytime they respawn.
Definately sucks I mean I just hit Epic for the first time and feel like benching him now because of the pet thing.
My 3 wolves are fine in legendary because they are just there to buff me with strength of the pack and take occasional aggro. I can just recast them when they die. Conjuror might have trouble if they rely on pets. Spellbreaker is fine since they are mainly a dual wield class with deathchill aura and pets just for fun support.
I know but man this stuff is starting to wear on me. I mean i get decently far with some classes then oh by the way aoe of warriors doesnt work, then hey pets arent being buffed like they are supposed to be, hey poison also sucks later on and so forth. So I stop playing them and have to start over. Ughhhhhhh
Ok so who was getting purples from the scorpion King on epic? I'm on my 9th run and have only had two blues that only half help me show up besides a flood of yellow. I still make more coins then I spend on pots for him but holy geez I'm not sure any will ever drop. Also the fraking chimera kills me so flipping fast and I barely hurt him and the run back is forever so I stopped for now and am trying to get better equipment before I try again.
Wait... Chimera or manticore? I don't remember the former being that bad on epic, but I didn't take down manticore until I'd finished act 2 legendary.
