In my experience, the best boss for farming is Typhon. He's one of the quickest farms as I can run past all the mobs on Olympus and kill him in about 1 minute. Prior to that, the first Telkine with the Minotaur is good. Every other boss and majestic chest has been crap. I've killed Typhon several hundred times and have gotten over a hundred legendaries. Off class makes me cry, but he does drop loot for every class and every slot. He frikkin loves dropping battle mage armor the most though...
i farmed him tons in normal before heading to epic mode. i agree, i got some nice weps and armor from him. im at eastern silk road and not quite to him in epic mode yet but will farm him a bunch before legendary mode.
Playing for Satisfaction Honestly - what's your favorite stage of the game? I'll tell you mine. It's that magical point towards the end of Act I, normal. Your somewhere around level 12-15. You've got the backbone of both masteries well underway. Your sporting 2-3 blues, and maybe even a couple pieces of a set (even if it DOES give +2 to a skill that's not even in either of your masteries), and you have a +damage/+speed relic solidly planted in you not-too-shabby baddie-whacker. At this point, you are redonkulously over powered. Everything melts away in your path. If your playing anything with a Storm Mastery, you probably have Squall maxed, and you're just skipping along and popping it at the first sign of trouble - and the "trouble" dies. Here's what's so great about this part of the game.- every thing can be improved on. Your still leveling just about every time you sit down to play, a great piece of equipment still have a PROFOUND impact on you DPS, and a single blue torso piece might cut the number of red pots your popping in half. Let's face it, no where in the game will you EVER be able to match the % increase in DPS than when you put your fist three points into a mastery, and when you upgrade the silly knife you start the game with. I've started and completed seventeen toons of normal - dang near ever sub class worth playing. That's what's fun to me.
Takes me about 100 seconds or more usually. Lol a hundred legendaries? How many hours you have put into this game? Not really, none of the archer skills are for spear, not in the marksmanship tree which is the only one needed. Spears has one skill and it's not even great. I suspect spear users use hunting as a secondary mastery. How can people be even leveling up that high? I am level 48 and just killed Minotaur legendary. Gaining a level takes a lot of time. I am guessing a few hrs at least w no deaths.
getting mad legendaries in forest of the ancients epic mode. 4 purples dropped in 1.5 hours of play wow! i have a lv 47 conqueror.
They spam it a good amount, you will see the icon when you are within 10 meters of them after they cast it.
Now it's raining legendaries off typhoon in epic. Man any news on shared storage it's killing me to have to sell all these purples
@ house it didn't take too long to farm the 3 gorgon queens in Pythian cave to get my stone binder cuffs.

All three hunter bow passives also apply to spear, and since spears have high pierce, so do art of the hunt/call of the hunt/study prey. If you have a bunch of points in those, and you find a good legendary spear (like Amazonian Spear, which is the one I use when I respec hunter mode), you can do some pretty mad damage while having the advantage of a shield. Leveling into the 50s is seriously slow and frustrating, but as I've been trying to do act 3 legendary, I'm pretty sure it's the only way I'll be able to handle the end game. I've taken to speed running the entire third act of Epic and repeatedly running Valley of the Kings legendary to get exp.
I figured out the problem. I cannot have art of the hunt up or else it takes my wolves mana down to nothing which means they cannot use skills. Should tart of the hunt just reserve my mana and not my wolves?
The issue only occurs if I have a point in trail blazer. It seems like is a glitch. I had to remove my point in trail blazer in order to get my wolves mana back to normal. Anyone else have this issue?
I just ran Gorgons a few times and got Cuffs that are +3 all skills. Dissapointed they are green, I thought they would be blue or legend.
