My Slayer has one. It does have pretty ridiculous damage, even if it is totally off class for me. I've got an assortment of great legendary weapons -- what I really need is some better legendary armor. I can tear up epic act 3/4 now, but I'm pretty much stuck in the Nile Valley in legendary.
Helps a lot. I can't seem to get my own portals to send me back to town - the town portals take me to my created ones, but the created ones just sit there.
Any suggestions on how to beat the Minotaur Lord boss? Getting my ass handed to me and can't seem to find any equipment that's helping. Literally doing next to no damage using staffs for ranged attacks and a variety of swords and axes. I'm a Thane (Storm+Warfare) if that makes a difference.
You mean health potions? Yeah, buy a ton but he kills me too quickly to make a dent in him. For magic, my storm abilities also seem to wear off on him much quicker than any other monster I've encountered this far. Starting to wonder if my class / mastery choices were not wise but I'm so far in at this point.
My character is level 17 and I'm sure clocked over 10 hours into the game (maybe even double that). As one who doesn't have a lot of time to game, that time is precious. I've died many times in the game but this is the first spot that I feel like I've hit a wall.
Yep my bow ranger found a thorny maul but I accidentally sold it. No shared inventory anyway so doesn't matter.
Sometimes after calling it I have to run around until it targets the portal and then action button will warp you. It's hot and miss when it happens but if I run away and back it will target the portal.
It's probably a combo of tough class and not good enough gear. The Minotaur isn't that far in but I totally felt like I hit a wall with him he is fast and hard.
Maybe I'll go to one of those dudes who can respect for gold. Is that only for stats? Or can you respect your skills too? I'll see when I get home.
Yes, found that out and even though it's skills....it's not masteries so not really much help. I finally did get past the Minotaur Lord using an ungodly amount of potions and going back to kill it a little more after each death. But then stuck on the Megalesious. Couldn't get past it even with potions (and the fact that it comes back at full strength). Had to stop playing. And about cried I came back to find that even with saving, you still lose boss progress so had to fight the Minotaur Lord again...and called it a day. Frustrating and I'm going to give it a rest for a few days I think before I try again. Maybe I will resort to starting over with a different class.
There are a number of majestic chests in the labyrinth on the way to the Minotaur lord. If you hit a hard wall like that, I recommend redoing the entire labyrinth after a save and exit. You're almost sure to find SOME upgrade, especially for a low level character. One piece can make a huge difference for those fights.
Where is the Minataur? I'm in Egypt at the Thebes portion. Still in normal though. Just wondering whether I breezed through or have yet to face him. Again, but that far into things but my Oracle has been a champ thus far.
Was going to buy this game but I have read a lot about the iCloud save problems which has put me off.
